That makes sense and should put people at ease. I think the fact venue was never officially announced and just said downtown warehouse gave people the impression this was semi planned from the start, but that's obviously not the case. Good on you for laying out what happened though as far too many promoters don't bother.

totes. it's a perfectly reasonable explanation, and thanks for clearing everything up. however, just my two cents - they probably would have avoided all this complaining and confusion by just being clear about the change in venue in the first place...those photos of the space were posted a while ago so i imagine the downsview venue has been booked for a little while. i could be wrong (it's been known to happen :p ).

i love how everyone is complaining about people complaining about the change in venue. it's perfectly valid to be disappointed in a change in plans, folks!!!

anyhooters, hopefully i don't end up on the ttc the following morning in my costume. could be rather embarassing. :nervous:

Carnivale is the brand all the parties are falling under. It's the collective that's putting these shows on. The branding on this party was a little confusing I'll admit, but you'll see it with Carl Cox and the other events that are planned...all have the Carnivale brand attached.

The Highroller
Ricardo worked Stereo to the bone last night. Best I've ever seen him. I hope he brings some of that magic to Toronto, because if so you're in for a real treat.
