When Gareth was playing at Circus this summer I thought he was great and if you listen to his live set on episode 105 of his podcast when he played at Circus as well he destroyed that dance floor. That's why I really want Gareth to play longer than 2 hours so he can have the leeway to dig deeper into his arsenal to play the tracks that we care about.

Dash Berlin is a big letdown though and I don't care for Axwell either. I was really hoping (and still hope) that they bring some up and comers to balance out the cheese fest that might infest Bell Centre that night.

Hold on, non cheesy trance exists?

I thought trance was like a pizza....

Yes.

I disagree with this as a general statement. But let's not debate this because it's all subjective but I'll give you one bone though, if Cosmic Gate's performance in Ottawa last week was like a pizza, then it would have been coated with 3 extra heapings of cheese...

No question that Avicii is fully booked for NYE but he could certainly pull off an early-late morning session at the Bell Centre on Jan 2nd for Resolution 2012.

oh def not, that's a whole other league ha ha
armin is at a point in his career where he has 2 options...
1) continue to make cheesey and play crap for the masses
or
2) say screw the pop and cheese and could go back to his old melodic uplifting sound which got him to where he is today. someone needs to take a stand on where the trance scene is going these days
its pretty sad
