So what do you think of the law proposals SOPA and/or PIPA? There's been a lot to do about it lately and I was what you guys think about it.
I guess most interesting opinions would come from L4C and Rann since you are knees deep into the entertainment industry.

I don't want to share my opinion just yet as I don't want to steer the conversation too much into the direction it will most certainly go. However, this video explains the possible concequences for society pretty clearly. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a similar video that is in favour of the bills.

I haven't really formed an opinion on it yet, but found this part kind of disturbing:
"The bill would criminalize the streaming of such content, with a maximum penalty of five years in prison."
I agree with everything Clay says, and I think it sucks what SOPA/PIPA stand for but, I fear that even if it doesn't pass, eventually it or something worse will be passed. The government wants control of everything and thats the way its been heading for a while (or forever).
The thing is, someone needs to think of a real solution that everyone can be happy with, and I know I don't have it. I love the idea of say Soundcloud, that we can all share our music to everyone all across the world at ease, and if that changes for the worse for all of us musicians, I myself may quit, but, even if I don't, it will be sad for my life to have been all about my music and nobody ever hear it.
