I cut weed up with tobacco for a smoother smoke, and I still haven't had any cravings. I'm quite interested in what the threshold is for addiction to nicotine - how long or frequently you have to smoke it before the addiction kicks in.

The thing with weed is that it completely overpowers the tobacco effect. I very much doubt you can get addicted to smoking tobacco that way or at the very least you're not going to associate the cravings you get with needing a cigarette. A lot of people do blame the addictive properties of smoking weed with the fact that most people cut it up with tobacco, but i think that's just making excuses. Both are equally addictive in their own ways.

And you didn't know all that? Because i do. For me it's not about not acknowledging the facts or convincing myself of the opposite. It just means nothing to me, i'm addicted, i'm literally in love with a chemical. It's a bodily urge i need to satisfy. Hence the interest in E-cigs.

Yes of course I knew all that. The point is that the reason I kept doing it depite that knowledge was because I was brainwashed to believe I HAD to keep doing it.

If you love the chemical so much, then surely you must be a chain smoker? Because the chemical only produces a mild "high", lessened over time as you build tolerance, and withdrawal symptoms (also mild) only last about about a half hour. So you HAVE to be doing it at least every half hour then, no?

Brainwashed by who? Honestly i can't start nitpicking about what emotions are genuine or not. It doesn't matter, the experience is the same.

Hell no, that just makes you feel bloated and your mouth will taste like . :clown:

Listen, this is getting us nowhere. Don't you realize your talking to a brick wall here? I've seen the argumentation, i already said it's solid. You're putting me in a position i don't want to be in and unless you're still trying to convince yourself i don't see why you would want to continue this. The metaphor of love is chosen because it shares the complete lack of rationality, which should be enough of an explanation really. I have an endless supply of curtains to hide behind, you can't catch me. Now stay out of my brain s.v.p.

I'm just surprised you don't recognize the sentiment, as you must have had an endless supply of people that have tried to convince you to stop smoking as well.
Silky Johnson
I'm not trying to convince you to stop smoking. Just pointing out that your logic for doing it is wrong. You're just as brainwashed as any other smoker. Everything you have said is the exact crap broken apart in The Easy Way. That's all I'm saying.
Bierheld
Implying there is a right logic for smoking?

Anyway I've had just about enough. There is no logic, all i'm doing is making excuses and obviously none of them are going to be new to you. I can't win this discussion and that's exactly why i don't want to have it. It doesn't matter. There is no right or wrong in this ordeal because it only affects myself. Brainwashed, ignorant, call it what you like. I'm off. ;)

Why is there always so much praise for people who did something wrong and then changed but never any praise for those who never did anything wrong? I love the fact that people are giving up smoking, but people that never took it up don't seem to get a pat on the back.

Imma feel left out :(

Hah. Well ...congrats on never smoking! :D

Yeah, fair point man. Congrats on never smoking, excellent life choice there. In all honesty, I'm quite jealous.

Nay, they used to back when they were introduced but they've come a long way since then. I've heard plenty of positive experiences these days and i tried one a while back and it's just what i'm looking for. One hit ---> instant satisfaction.

This

Which type of E-cig did you try? Was it a Mod or a Penstyle (one that is shaped like a regular Cig) or was it one of the E-Go series?

I can point you in a good direction for a PV (Personal Vapor Machine) to good quality Juices if you let me know what you are looking for?

I smoke because its enjoyable. I don't do it because its cool, and I don't hate myself for it. I could quit if I wanted, but I don't want to. I don't see what's wrong with that. Its annoying how un-PC it is to smoke these days. Its like every smoker is meant to be ashamed of themselves. That's retarded; I don't know when it suddenly became a public issue what substance, or method any person uses to relax...?
