"If I could pull out your heart right now. If I could take every thought you have ever hard from your first waking moment until this very hour. If I could take every thought you ever had, not just your deeds but your thoughts, only your thoughts; and I could put them on a video and I could show that video here in this community today - you would run off of this campus and never show your face again because you have thought things so wicked and so perverted you could not even share them with your closest friend. As a matter of fact, if your closest friend knew some of the thoughts you've had against him, he would no longer be your friend." - Paul Washer

And what's not absurd to say is that the suspect isn't some rare, marginalized individual from society. He could've been any person walking on God's green earth. Imagine the evil he was continuously thinking the day he conceived the idea of murdering people 'til the moment he left around carnage. I'm not judging him but I could assure that he was thinking about evil relentlessly.

The bottom line is, men are evil.

I think there's quite a bit of a difference between a thought and a deed.
Mattsanity.
yeah. thoughts aren't really materialized until they're acted out. any philosopher would acknowledge that evil thoughts lead to evil deeds.

Well, the non-retarded among us generally realize the distinction between thoughts and actions is quite an important one, and that perfectly healthy people sometimes have aggressive, violent, and otherwise nasty thoughts, but we do not consider them "evil" unless they act them out.

The important thing for maintaining a decent society is not to have "pure" thoughts all the time, an impossible task anyway even for the many Christians who beat themselves up about it and pray to be rid of their "unholy" impulses, but rather just to control oneself at least enough not to kill anybody. And that is quite possible for most of us to do.

It is indeed impossible to think pure all the time, and God gave us the wisdom to hate things that are bad. There's nothing wrong with disliking or hating what is immoral. We need to make a distinction there because evil is anything you love that God hates.

Matt, honestly, I know this is the COR but, in this thread, your trolling is particularly perverse and tasteless.

practice makes perfect

R.I.P. to the victims though.

pretty evil. Not lets drown he entire world evil but almost as evil. The problem with your god is that he is the ted haggard of gods. Everything he seems forbid, he is the one doing. I would say the Christian god is about as evil as they come.

I have a friend. He loves dick. I mean he ing loves it. those gay orgies you don't hear about, he is there. He also donates a large sum of money every year to cancer research, all his clothes are ridiculous designer brands but i can guaranty not one kid worked on his outfit. He only eats organic vegetarian.

I bet by the time my friend has sucked his first of the day, you've probably indirectly caused more harm to more people with the clothes you wear and the food you eat in that one day than he will in a lifetime.

But ya, he is just crazy for the shlong.
