I can't believe that happened. It didn't help that he didn't go on until 315/330. What a ing mess. I am extremely apprehensive about my tickets to Barem/Gaiser and Digweed now, apparently their party last week was shut down as well.
Nice to see so many TAs though and meet a few more... hopefully next time there will be music on when we meet. |

man that blows that it was shut down...fkin NYPD have nothing BETTER to do...cmon its BKLYN not MANHATTAN!! Beekman Beer Garden is a legit venue too but that doesnt stop the cops from shutting parties down either. hrms |

Way oversold, never seen that place so packed before...cops walking through the middle of the dance floor etc.
Not entirely surprised it got shut down....
A lot of unhappy people, especially those that came later..
Sasha came on way too late (3-30ish?)
So now what happens with Digweed party? First batch of tix sold out like fresh bread. Hoping the m-nus party is somewhere else too... |

Got there a little before 2 and they made us queue up. The security dude kept yelling that people paying cash got to cut up front. Kind of bull.
Wtf was up with Sasha going on so late, was that planned that way? Did they think this was still 2001 and we were going to rave on speed pills until 10am on the ghetto? I know the best BLKmarket parties go late, and the smaller ones in lofts maybe the headliner gets on after 3am but I was thinking maybe he missed his flight (jk)
On the plus side, got to catch some of Jeff Mills. |
