| what a disaster. vibe was amazing. opener had the room warmed up nicely but sasha didn't start till 3:30. things were off to a fantastic start until the sound cut out 50 minutes into sasha's set. sound was off over 20 minutes. when it came back on, sasha was building what was destined to be an unforgettable set, but the damn party got shut down by cops at 5:15am. $50 bucks for a taste of greatness with a harsh ending and only 1 hour and 20 minutes of sasha and his set while awesome never reached its peak. rough. heard it was shut down due to alcohol after 4. those cops were there all night looking to shut the thing down. |

| I'm sure the recent spurt of 'warehouse parties' run by amateurs that cater to the young candy kids doesn't help anyones cause. Not mentioning any names. Taking the pros and mature crowd down with the wrath. |

Amazing party - Sasha was incredible.
Two IDs:
Kollektiv Turmstrasse - Schwindelig (Ian O'Donovan Remix) - last track Sasha played before the break.
Poxy Music - War Paint (Claude Von Stroke) - opener played this before Sasha went on... sick track (thanks for the ID Albert!)
Also took 30 seconds of video - will upload later, would love to know what track it was. |

Ahh damn you I was just about to ID that O'Donovan track :p Yeah probably the most heartbreaking thing is that it started out with one of the strongest Sasha sets I've heard in a loooong time. Shame to have it get cut short.. :(
Btw at one point he was teasing his remix of Spinning too..
EDIT:
Oh and he also played Justin Martin - Don't Go (Dusky Mix) |

| Now would be a good time for another promoter to swoop in and book him for a redo. Cough cough nudge nudge, promoters on this board. |

Imo, blkmarket is the most capable of providing Sasha in a proper warehouse environment. For those of you who went to see him two years ago at the other warehouse party, you probably remember a huge police presence then too, it happens. Of course it was going to be packed, it's Sasha, in a warehouse, by blkmarket. If you don't understand there is risk of a party getting shut down then you just don't get how this city is run, go to Pacha if that is how you think. Personally, I am looking forward to Halloween and Digweed. You shouldn't turn on a group that has provided NY with some of the most memorable parties in recent history. It takes a lot to put on an event of that magnitude and the loss from being shut down early is high, show support because they deserve it |

| It was a legal venue, they just ed up. This is not like the past events that got shut down. They either sold alcohol after 4a (venue fault) or allowed too many people to enter (venue fault) |

They shouldn't have overpacked it and should have shut down the bar after 4 am while there were cops around. Plain and simple. I wasn't taking a dig at blkmarket, if they rebook him at a new spot I'll be thrilled. I just want SOMEONE to book him. No need to throw your dirtiest "go to Pacha" insult at me ;) |

Nice try BLKmarket!! : )
But in a serious note: that is an international recognized dj. They claimed it at a legal venue warehouse and charged big money for entrance. That shouldn't have been broken down. That was not a $10 rave!
I am actually confused how no one is asking for their money back! only so to put pressure at BLkmrkt to be more prepared. I have bought ticket for digweed as well and i don't want it to go to waste!! |
