Being open during the day, adds nothing to the club experience. If I could go grab some tapas at 2am, and then go back up and party till 5, then that would be amazing. |

I do, because I live in the area.
p.s. your posts are annoyingly try-hard and belligerent. |
I simply meant what Orko said... this thread is about a club, so in that context - serving food in the daytime does nothing for serving food during the peak times of a nightclub.
I might check out the place too during the daytime, but all the previous posts revolved around having a nightclub that served food when it's open.
Hence my try-hard and belligerent post. |

A little underwhelmed with the bookings so far. It's not that theirs anything wrong with them, it just kinda feels like the same old stuff.
So far we've seen a Minus night, Art Department/Lee Foss, Mark Farina, Sneaks BDay Beats, and Danny Howells. All of these are the kind of bookings that Toronto already gets on a regular basis. Every year we get these guys passing through, but now instead of them being at FW/Sunnyside/etc, they might be at Moskito. Which is all good, it's nice to have a change of scenery, but I just find it a little underwhelming. It would be awesome if we had a new venue that didn't play by these standard toronto booking rules, and made it a point to ensure their programme focused on bringing new talent that Toronto isn't already extremely familiar with. It would be awesome to have a place that's really different then what we already have, not the same thing just now at another location. Maybe it's too early to critique this and I'm jumping the gun, time will tell. |
