| Yep, I freak out when I break glasses at work, I usually only do it about once every 2nd shift... and they don't even care unless you break more than 4 every shift. |

| I printed 2,000 calendars (2,000 of 6 sheets, 12 hour run) with the wrong year. Then re-printed it and bindery punched the hole in the wrong spot. Had to run it 3 times. I wasn't the one who set up the files, and they signed off on it, so it technically wasn't my fault but I was pissed at myself for not catching such a stupid obvious mistake. |

I had to arrange 5 pickups for purolator today.
I placed one of those 5 at 7:30. When it was 8:00 I called Purolator and asked for the ETA of the pickup. They told me I cancelled it before.
Which I did. but that's because when I called them earlier to see how many I had left, she asked me "Did you order 2 pickups or 1? it's showing in my system that you ordered 2 pickups." So i told her no, i only ordered one. blah blah blah no problem.
BUT what I didn't realize was that she was talking about our EVERYDAY 7:30 pickup. so yes. I did cancel my extra pickup.
and it was all WIIU that HAS to get to the stores by Friday/Saturday for the launch on Sunday.

no,
you get sued if you lie, distort the facts or not disclose information.
Honestly, you are a real estate broker. Get over it. |

you should get sued for taking 2.5% commisions LOL
agents should be paid a flat rate per sale, regardless on how much the property costs. |

| Hey you s. Let's not turn this into a Real estate thread. This thread is for the working class blues. |

I worked as a "graphic designer"/"editor" in a Japanese language school for a while, and one day our printer sent us hundreds of magazines with the wrong date on the cover. As I was the one responsible for everything written in the magazine, and no one in the printing house could speak Japanese, it became obvious that it could only be my fault.
I went through the wildest guilt trip, as I knew how expensive it was for the school to print all that material. Until, that is, we found out it wasn't really my fault: the staff at the printing house simply assumed the "letters were all the same", and used the same cover we sent them last time (reason why the date was so wrong). However, their manager saw how miserable I felt after being scolded by the school principal, and he offered me some great deals in return for having messed up. Yay! |

lol how much do you think it costs to sell a million dollar home or how much time do you think it takes?
I spend thousands in fees a year and thousands in education. Every year I have to take a number of classes just to keep my license.
Secondly its a free market. You don't have to be charged 2.5% you just agree to it. We are sole proprietors not employees I can charge whatever I'd like to provide my service. If I charge too much nobody will Hire me and if I charge to little I can't survive.
Thirdly there is flat fee real estate out there....it just doesnt sell.
fourthly nobody has ever said you have to use a real estate agent to purchase or sell property. If you want to put up your house for sale tomorrow you can go ahead. It will take you close to a year to sell but you can do it. but let me guess you don't have the time to be on the phones all day and oh you don't have the connections to buyers like real estate agents have to get it sold...ahhhh.. you want to access to our circle of influence but don't want to pay the commission??? cmon man nothing is free.
you want information on solds as public information??? but its not. because its our information. we make the deals we know what it sold for so we share that information with eachother as realtors. It isn't public information nor should it be. You don't have access to how much Bob has in his bank or what his credit score is, why should you know how much he sold his house for or how much he paid for his car?? |
