Well it is...but there's of course the aftermath. I just really hope they move up 1 of 2 scenes from the end of the 3rd book into the season finale. The audience needs something to hold on to after this. Reading Twitter, there's A LOT of people calling for the deaths of HBO, the producers, the writer, all the Lannisters, Freys, etc.

In a way I hope those viewers never return to HBO because obviously they can't handle a good TV show. They are used to the mind numbing hollywood garbage and can rest in hell. On the other hand, without those viewers, the show might indeed start receiving negative ratings, maybe causing a lull in production or even cancelling the show all together. I don't know what they should do. I guess including some nice wrap-up that shows some hope that the "bad guys" are gonna get it soon would be a good idea considering it is after all a TV show and for it to survive it must receive a minimum amount of viewers per week (my assumption). I mean look at Boss. That TV show was ing INCREDIBLE, yet they cancelled it after 2 seasons. Low viewership I heard. |

Yea, these people are ed. I get that they're pissed, but they're really taking the idea of "over reacting" to a whole new level.
Just goes to show how good of a writer Martin really is for developing a plot like this. And how ballsy he is for going through with it too. |

:haha: :haha:
Yeah man. That's what I was saying... they could have adapted the TV show differently, but I have a feeling that the directors/producers/writers couldn't wait for this day to come ever since they wrote the pilot lol.
I think they said that in an interview somewhere, can't remember where though. |

But this has nothing to do with anything with the story anyways. people dont realize that the rebellions happening have little to do with the overall picture.
the book was much better too. in the book we thought the mountain had killed arya with an axe to the head and had to wait almost until the next book to find out she was just unconscious.
Also Jon Snow's lady friend shoots an arrow through his leg while hes riding off and that shapeshifter was not killed yet. |

^- Seriously?
The series all along has shown that it's not one to shy away from killing off main / loved / well-liked characters.
I haven't read the books yet - so the episode was a shocker. But, it left an impact and me thinking 'wtf?!', but in a good way.
I've had a feeling all along that the Starks were not going to be coming out on top - just expected their downfall to happen on the battlefield, not during a wedding reception.
That said, I really hope that they don't with Daenerys and kill her off - I've been rooting for her since the start of the series, and been finding it very interesting watching her story and power develop outside of the 'main' focus of the show of The Starks / Lannisters and surrounding factions.
It seems to me as if she's a given at coming out on top - the question is how 'good' she will remain in doing so. |

The hound, not the mountain. And it was only a few chapters, not even close to the next book. |

The books have a lot of foreshadowing that I always seem to miss and then I realize after the fact. Also when you watch the tv show you don't get a good sense of who are the main characters ( Robb wasn't one ) . To me it seems dany is the main protagonist of the series and it would be cool to see something crazy like that to go down with her. I don't want it too but that would be a big WTF. I hope they don't cut out oberyn martell next season !
They need to start shooting the next seasons cuz the child actors seem to be getting old. idk if it was just me but brans voice changed or something ? He just seemed off to me all season |
