The Beric vs The Hound fight at the beginning was all kinds of awesome. I loved the scene with Arya and how she went crazy trying to kill him afterwards. And the scene with Gendry was a real tear jerker. Tywin pretty much owns, as always. Loved the look on Cersei's face when she found out she has to marry Loras. And somebody give Ygritte some damn food. God that girl is freakishly skinny.
I know I said this last week, but this was the best episode of the season. |

| Definitely a filler episode but it had to happen in order to lead up to the (god I can't wait for this) finale |

| The whole episode felt like a movie trailer. + 1 about the ending. Reading the book didn't really help much this episode at all just made things more confusing to me |

Olenna is great. They, and the actress, definitely nailed that character.
Really liked this past episode too (episode 8), especially after 2 somewhat underwhelming episodes. Can't wait for episodes 9 and 10. I almost wish they would air them on the same day just because there's going to be so much madness going on.
Glad they finally decided to omit Theon's torture scenes. I feel like they wasted a little too much time on them, but I guess they needed to get across how utterly ed he is.
Not sure how I feel about the Daario Naharis casting. The guy is too much of a pretty boy, and I honestly feel like the guy that played Mero, The Titan's Bastard, would've been a better fit for Daario.
Oh, and no new episode this coming Sunday. It's Memorial Day weekend so they're skipping it (due to very low ratings for the previous episode 9's on the long weekend) |

Yeah I feel ya on the Daario situation. I was holding my tongue with the Grey Worm casting too, but I dno. I guess I gotta give the casting dudes a little bit of leeway, considering they've done a stellar job on almost everybody so far :)
Sucks about this Sunday :(
I really liked the scene with Sam at the end too. It's really awesome seeing him finally finding his bravery. Not gonna lie, I had goosebumps when all those crows started gawking and then stop suddenly. I was like "OH SHIETTTTT" |
