I used to be really sketchy on this site for a long while but a child will make you overcome a mental illness in a few months flat.
Only problem now is I spent so much time out there in the abyss of the mind that now I'm too old for proper education as I defaulted on some Student Loans and will no longer be eleigable for Financial Aid even if I pay back the Student Loan. |

| Him trying to put fear in people by telling them that he will get off on killing and raping their spouses is just out there. I honestly think he thinks he is striking fear in people with that but the bottom line it's just psychotic and trust me I know psychotic.:o :wtf: |

I never joked like that but I would get angry at people just for exsiting and in my mind, making my life harder. Crazy times but I just took it out on myself mostly. |

Are you sure that if you didn't get back on track with your loans that you still would be ineligible for further funding? I've known people that made a mess of their loans, but have since recovered and get aid.
Also, this might not seem like the most attractive option given the interest rates, but you should explore private lending if you really want to get back into school. |

Sallie Mae sold my unpaid bill to another company already so I don't know if Sallie Mae would even want to bother. But what is private lending? |

Even if he is (and to a large extent, I do believe he is), he's been harassing users like that for quite a while now. I'd have just warned him again, but earlier this week I found out he was being abusive towards other users elsewhere on TA, so it's come to a point someone had to do something about it. He knew this was coming for him if he insisted... and he did. |

Ah, ok, I see...
I'm guessing your original federal loan for school was through Sallie Mae, yes? Because Sallie Mae does do federal as well as private loans (unfortunately, I have both kinds with them).
Here is a list of other lenders that you could try and pursue a private loan through:

With the private lender list, loans are available, albeit with a much higher interest rate.
Now, I don't know how deep of a hole you're in with regards to your loan default, but if you start taking steps to repay the people that now hold your original Sallie Mae loan, I'm pretty sure that you can position yourself to become eligible for further financial assistance.
Not to try and give you too much advice, but I would also contact Sallie Mae and explain your situation, let them know that you messed up early on, but are now in a different place in your life now, and see what they might suggest with regards to moving this whole process forward.
Just remember, you are not the only person who has ever done this, and it can be overcome. |

That's why I said he crossed the line and remarked that he's trolling only to a large extent, reason I said he should probably get some professional help.
