Jesus Christ. Look at all of my posts. Where do I say money doesn't matter? I say it's not impressive and doesn't equal class or decency. I've said that over and over again. How dense are you?

I'm not on here posting pictures of my watch or cars or closet of suits; that is nouveau riche. |
Good for you! Nouveau riche is also characterized by thinking that having money is an important character trait - a thought that you clearly have.

In fact, the person who brought up my income was you, which proves that your attitude about me is more about your own insecurities than my bragging about anything. |
How does me thinking it's amusing you're worried about what will happen to people making barely more than minimum wage prove I'm insecure?

It makes sense though, you're what, 23? Give it a few years and you'll realize that your faux-noble "money doesn't mean anything" attitude will be gone. That or you've just set the bar really low for yourself or have no ambition. |
Yes, I have no ambition, because I don't think people's worth is measured in dollars.

Regardless, the fact that you continue to try and act like you know anything about who I really am just speaks volumes to the level of your ignorance. Joseph, to think you really know anybody whom you are not friends with and have had only the most superficial of interactions with doesn't mean you're good at reading people, or that anything at all is obvious other than your own foolishness. The fact that you know my name means nothing, but I find it interesting that you use it so often. Do you really think knowing my name means anything? |
I've said nothing about who you really are. All I've said is how your attitude comes across. It comes through in every single post you make.
For someone who talks a lot about logical fallacies and intelligence-shredding, you seem to have awful reading comprehension skills. |

I just find it intriguing that the person lews is trying ever so hard to present me as is eerily similar to what he has always struck me as. Going out to wine bars, sipping sazeracs in jazz clubs, calling top shelf liquors "" because he has such a refined 21 year old palette. It's like he tries to mix in with the people living the high life, but deep down he hates them and laments the fact that their lifestyle is simply out of his reach. I'm pretty sure he was the one spearheading the hate on Eric for being excited about a $30,000 commission.
I'm honestly quivering in anticipation of his next long winded diatribe about how little he cares about money.
Edit: lol @ being "worried" about McDonalds workers making $15/hr. Brilliant. |

So the fact that I have good taste in alcohol, unlike the average person my age, means that I think money is impressive? And somehow I spend lots of money on luxurious pastimes, yet that lifestyle is out of my reach?
Please, try to make sense in your posts. This one makes none. |

The more I think about it the more similarities he has to Nou. |

So the fact that I care about people in worse financial situations than me means... what? Personally, I was raised to think that it is a virtue to care about those less fortunate. I thought it was one of the foundations of most forms of (non-Rand) ethical philosophy, but perhaps I'm wrong.
I'm also curious how me having family money means I'm insecure.
If you could come up with a coherent insult, it would be appreciated. I already have enough reasons to pity you, I really don't need any more. |

You could also try to respond to this point, but I doubt you will, since

It's okay, Stephen. Just keep thinking you're awesome for making the amount of money you do. You totally deserve it! Unlike those damn greedy morons flipping burgers. |
