Yeah...
Dirty Bird BBQ was a lot of fun. Really great weather and great crowd. Sound was quite , unfortunately, and long ass line-up for food (good thing I didn't actually need or want to eat). Halfway through they announced tall cans were only 5 bucks, which I thought was just a joke, but turned out to be true - so that was awesome.
Venue was alright. I was expecting it to be on the OTHER side of Sherbourne Common, with all the cool ass architectural features and whatnot, but it was on the waterfront side. If it was hotter/in the middle of the summer, I can't imagine how brutal that sun would have been. No shade whatsoever.
sound aside, music was on point. J Phlip was my fave of the day. She ing killed it. |

I believe he is referring only to the speakers in the front and Funktion 1 only applies to the dancefloor.

Must have been changed because I was in the back standing in front of the stack and it was def. not any ordinary speker. |

I don't recall the type of speakers but the sound was good in the back end of the club... far back up the steps against the bar there is a dead zone... but you would want that by the bar thou...
on another note...
I seen the video for the Schulz @ Guv marathon set... I wanted to go but after seeing/hearing the video i'm happy I skipped out... the tunes that were in the 30min video were terrible imo... story goes main room was rammed until 6... I did hear they played king of my castle (svd remix), that would have been nice to hear one last time... |
