See, that's why we need racism. Because it keeps minorities from being like "I can't help it, I'm black!"

Which is why fat/body shaming needs to exist. It's like I said before: the body image war is totally correlated to the rise in obesity. It became socially unacceptable to make fun of people for how they look, so people stopped openly ripping on fatties, therefore, fatties were allowed to get fatter.

Well that's the danger of a democracy, majority rules.

I'm gonna have to say that's relative. Taxes are taxes.

The NHS in the UK has a limited budget and at the moment far too much of that budget is spent on treating illnesses directly related to obesity. So when people with illnesses outside their control can't receive treatment due to lack of funds because of people who ruined their own health through entirely preventable means, it isn't just "taxes are taxes".

That's the point's though, i think they should be able to if they're inclined to. what is social responsibility? it's not engraved in stone, isn't the right thing to just let people be?

Yes, clearly you know more about how my country works than all the government experts warning of the threat of obesity to the NHS budget. Stick to telling people they're out of touch with the latest RA fad.

Do you actually have any argument whatsoever? How exactly do you propose to increase funding to the NHS without cutting other parts of the public sector?
