You are damn ing right I asked stu to remove those links (Stu knows where I work anyway) becuase public doxxing and/or posting personal details on TA is banned, not to mention illegal on any forums in the USA and UK. He saw it and removed it - not like I can force him and he was pretty ing clear about what's OK and what's not.
My question is what part of of your brain makes you think it OK to post links that contain:
Your employer's name, Employer's address, specific projects/jobs that you've worked on, your position, who your supervisor is, the names of all your work colleagues. Some even had the client's name and address.
Or are you suggesting and giving me permission to post that about you, your job and your clients?

I removed that mention anyway just in case. What Lewser and Jeo were up to was not ing OK.
It's one thing for us to mention our line of work, talk about generalities etc but it's not even in the same ing stratosphere for then someone else to start posting your employer's name and address, who you've worked with, with which clients and the names of the project, and the mods obviously agree (not least becuase websites have been sued and shut down for this sort of thing, and I'd hate for certain prick's actions on here to be the end of TA).
As for the bets Jack - this was the entire ing reason I said to have it done in private becuase A) stu wouldn't release private info he already partially knew and B) it was virtually impossible for me to rebut your ongoing dubious remarks about my line of work without releasing my personal/professional details, something which I've never done in a public setting, and can't even do anyway until my NDA's expire.
Your proposed bet however was a complete non sequitur; I've never once doubted that you worked "signage" - I can't think of a reason as to why I would? I also know that you've published a book (you've mentioned it on here before).
It's sounds like you're just throwing things out there to confirm the already known fact you write on the side, but again, in exact opposition to my bet, something I've never once doubted and therefore why in would I take it as a bet? It's like asking me to take a bet that Juan will go off his meds again. We know this. He's probably off them right now. |

All JEO posted was links to the IMDB, and as Lews points out, you are not on the IMDB. Not under your real name, at any rate. Those links scare you because they show how easy it is to get to you.
What you did in this thread was cross a line. You tried to get personal to win an argument, by bringing in things I have never mentioned here, and thus posting them without my consent. You also posted details that made it easy for even a fool to find my place of work. You did that out of the arrogant misassumption that you were impervious to retaliation, because you're stupid enough to think you can tell us everything about yourself for ten years and still be invisible. And when you realised you were wrong, you went crying to the moderators, which makes you a rank hypocrite and a coward too.
Now, my suggestion to you is never to try to fight dirty again. You got far too wound up by some on the Internet and you've made a fool out of yourself.
And just for the record, the careers thing was a joke. I just thought up a quick set up for that OJ Simpson quip. Nobody cares about your career history. If you check the original thread, the only thing I originally queried about your "timeline" is how you could fit in all those events and years clubbing in and be "nowhere near 40". Turns out I was right to be sceptical. |

You were the one who brought up people's personal work projects first. It is nothing more than just deserts and poetic justice that you had it done to you.
