ok, dont get me wrong. some jap cars are nice. and i love euro cars (ferrari, lamborghini, porsche, lotus) etc etc. but when it come down to it, nothing really beats a decked out cobra, or a new V-10 8.1 lt. 500 cubic inch, Dodge viper. and it pisses me off, all these little honda's, and rice cars. there all like, oh, i got ground FX, an intake, and a sweet muffler. whoopty fukin doo. slap a 300 HP blower on a saleen and then talk . i duno. im just taking a poll if you will. :D

I've got a video of a Honda racing a Viper...10.7 @ 133. I think that's talking there. :D Quite impressive if you ask me, seeing that the Honda has essentially half the engine of the Viper yet it is able to keep up with it.
Yep, I'm a rice owner myself (1990 Acura Integra GS). My grandpap owned the car for 7 years before me and didn't have a single problem with it. Hondas are very reliable cars vs. American cars. |

Why would you even think to bring up rice vs american in drag strip?
American cars do the quarter mile in 2.4 seconds at 330
you just cant get 5000hp out of a 4 banger, im sorry
If you are looking @ all around driveability, then look at the World Rally Championships. That combines everything a car should be into 1 package...dont see honda or acura in there either...
ok what about luxury cars like porches and vettes and ferraris? stuff like le mans and GT tours...oh I think Acura is in 1 of those.
Japan makes virtually nothing that excels in multiple categories...
yeah yeah, Nissan Skyline. Toyota Supra. Not impressed. Two cars in the entire history of Japan.
they are econo cars, plain and simple. You can spend a lot of money and make them worthwhile, true. but the money will do better things in better cars. |

| i think it's just cuz the cars are easy to get(price wise) relable, cheaper on insurance, and good on gas! other than those reasons i would get a ls1 :) |

| i drive a honda prelude and it has been a really reliable car. my dad owns a new ford and it keeps breaking down. I don't know anything about cars concerning speed and looks, but my car puts up with alot of compared to other american vehicles. |

Proud owner of a 92 Integra GSR. Fully un-modded! She still chugs along and can beat the snot off alot of the 'riced out civics'. 120000 miles on her and she is ripe in my book! |
