Merseyside derby observations:
We created heaps more chances than they did and had more possesion.
Our team selection was wrong, but obviously decisions were made with the Champions League match in mind.
Graham "3 yellows=red" Poll cost us a goal when he didn't call a foul against Cahill who took down Xabi and put him in a headlock. Absolutely ing ridiculous.
They created nothing and scored because of our ups. But they deserved to win. I will take nothing away from them.
The season is young, we have a better team than last year and we will go on to do great things. |

Yes, but what happens when johnson is injured? Liverpool have strength in depth.
We have a game in hand, its the beginning of the season, look where Arsenal are. I'm sure we'll still get second place in the premier league. I think 07/08 will be when we collect the title. |
