| just curious if you lot supported Everton over United (and Chelsea next month) in the FA Cup? I know I"d be supporting the Reds over most other English or European teams. The city is my original home :) |

not necessarily true, actually. I know many Reds fans who don't really have the "hate" for Everton the same as they do for United.
Of course, this could be because Everton hasn't been nearly as successful as they were in the 80s and the intensity of the derby has lessened a bit. There were lots of problems in the 80s between the two (I remember a few incidents), but football in England is much different now. |

On Sunday pretty much the whole of Liverpool was cheering on Everton to beat Man Utd. I don't know a single Liverpool fan who wouldn't want Everton to beat Utd.
Also what a game last night, I was lucky enough to go and the atmosphere was amazing! Shocking defensive mistakes lost us the game but it was a great game |

I dont know if Benitez is trying to become a Liverpool legend by attacking United on a regular basis or just trying to become the next mourinho by gaining maximum media attention but hes not successful at either.

How do you guys feel about Hyypiä leaving? Was it good riddens to bad rubbish or do you wish him all the best?
I'm just wondering since I don't know if he was popular among the fans? |

Seems like he's being wished all the best. Rafa offered him a coaching role, but he still wanted to play, hence why he's leaving to play in the Bundesliga |

Hyppia was a fantastic player and one of my favorites. I"m definitely going to miss him. I was in Detroit last weekend and completely missed his last game, sad days :( |
