I fell asleep once again, but I can't really blame the game for it because I'm tired since yesterday.
Anyways, Drogba, what a great goal he scored. Liverpoor had a couple of good chances to score but didn't get the ball into the goal. Also, Ballack what a ugly challenge that was on Sissoko, Deserved the red. |

Brilliant goal by Drogba. Liverpool took good advantage of Ballack's red card by creating several chances, but finishing was crap. Gerrard shooting violently on the face of Cech instead of placing it was particularly dumb. Infact I think Gerrard did a bad game - there was another chance where he shot from an impossible angle where he had 2 players alone in the area.
As for the ref, Ballack's red card was well deserved, but he missed a penalty kick on Robben, even if the dutch winger managed to cheat the ref in a couple other occasions (minor fouls).
I got the 3 points in the predictions game, haha. :D |

Definately a bit better than the usual between the 2 (apart from a certain cup game last year :D )
I was pleased how we played overall, Agger was ing brilliant once again, should be ahead of Sami now without doubt. Bellamy seemed anonymous, Kuyt worked hard as usual but that chance where he hit the bar looks like a glorious opportunity missed now. I think we deserved a draw at least but if you don't score you don't really deserve anything do you?
Where the is Gonzales? His non-inclusion once again suggests to me Rafa might not be liking what he sees in training, I can't think why else Zenden keeps getting into the squad ahead of him... I'd have preferred Garcia and Gonzales in the squad today... Perhaps a 5 man midfeield is the only way we're gonna get our strongest 11 out... Gerrard on the left with a squad including Aurellio and Gonzales (if both are fit), is not the answer.... |

Dunno the minutes. Good win. Also great to keep a clean sheet. Alonso goal worth watching. Scored it from inside his half. Keeper was unfortunate and slipped though, but still a cracking effort. |
