^^^ and yes, the male body IS ugly, but I don't see what your point is. It's built for different uses. :p |
my point being that, men may be physically superior but there's more to life than being stronger than the opposite sex. there's beauty everywhere in the world around us, more specifically the female body.
that is all! ;) |

yes buddy there is a lot of historical evidence that men were greatly opposed to feminism!!!! Maybe YOU should brush up on your history... |
Men AND women were BOTH opposed to feminism, as most people are generally opposed to any sort of radical political change. To depict men specifically as the reactionaries here is, well, incorrect.

The difference between you and I is that I don't think this gives me the right to be selfish too. I still hold to certain principles regardless of whether or not other people appear to respect them.
I also know for a fact that I'm generalizing and that there are probably some decent people out there, just that by the time you catch onto the people who aren't so great, it's usually too late. :sadgreen: |

The problem is not feminism, it's that feminism created gender role confusion amongst women. Sure they (I say "they" because that, I'm not a feminist) have equal rights, bring home the bacon, yaddayaddayadda, but traditional roles of women have been marred because of it. I guess I'm just old fashioned, I believe in 'traditional' male/female roles. I think feminism has ruined our society.
I do not wish to further elaborate or back up my statements because I am lazy. Eat me you feminist whores. |

Hmm, I see your point. I think when he said physical superiority, he meant physical strength specifically, but I could be wrong.
But yes, both versions of the human body have their good points... hehe |

What is "romance" anyway? It seems a lot of different women have different opinions about what exactly constitutes "romance." In my experience, if a woman likes you, then almost anything you do is "romantic," but if a woman is starting to get bored with her relationship with you, then no matter what you do you aren't "romantic" enough.
It's just a meaningless rationalization for inherently irrational emotions if you ask me. But if someone could provide me with an objective standard for what constitutes "romance" and show how it applies to every woman, I'd be happy to change my opinion. |

Umm, wouldn't that make *you* the bitter one, if I'm the one still sticking to my principles? *shrug* And stop using that goddamn rolleyes like you're all that and a bag of freakin' potato chips.

Well, that's what sucks about feminism and how relationships have been "modernized" (read: destroyed). Back in the "old days" (i.e. my parents' days), there WAS an objective standard for romance, just as there were gender roles and standards for gentlemanly conduct. But now that the roles have disappeared, so have the standards, and women are now free to use terms like love and romance in a completely subjective sense to justify this totally irrational behaviour you speak of.
I suppose men would be free to (mis)use it that way too, but I just don't see it happening. |

i don't think there is an objective standard for what constitutes as romance. every woman is different and every man is different, what they each want from a relationship and everything else in between is different. like i said before, its a matter of finding the right balance between the two people involved in the relationship. you just need to find someone who shares your view about what romance is and start from there. |
