it was interesting to read this thread but i think ...maybe im wrong that there is some mentality gap between maybe north america and here or ...it seems like ...i can be wrong
I just can't understand how some girls can accept to be taken care by a guy like he has to provide her everything pay all ...i dunno it doesn't really work this way here but rather sharing ....several times i've been invited by my bf and all ....but i was rather kinda embarassed each time he hasn't to do that sure it was all sweet but if i was with him that was not to get things ...see what i mean?
like later my worse nitemare would be to end up staying home the whole day while hubby is gettin' the money and workin ....
nah ...damn i want to do something of my life be independent ....do what i want and be single if i want ....and not lookin for a guy cuz he needs to pay my bills ...i think this behavior just low ....and disgusting ....just money minded and self interested !
well i just told u my opinion ...not all the girls are like the ones u described ...fortunately |

Do you ppl think love has a lot to do with romance? Could you have one without the other? |

yes. why be romantic to a person who shows no care, compassion, and dedication to u. By this i mean that romance and sex are two different things. People can go around putting their penis inside all types of crevices, but there is no love in it. they are there for the sensation and personal-pleasure, not love, which i think has everything to do with absolute statisfaction and interest to do more than flirt or kiss or all that stuff grown-up people do. and it's mutual. some girls think they are in love with a guy just because he takes off his clothes and pounds like that movie Armageddon where they crash the spaceship into the crater. The guy could just be a "player" and using this woman. sex is not romance at all. Both partners must show their true selves to be considered in a romantic relationships and show romance in all ways besides physical. |

I agree with you...tit-for-tat....not give me give me give me.
I want my girl to share...not only take.
I mean a relationship in itself is about compromise, sharing time and experiences and so on....so should everything else....even washing the dishes together lol
but yeah...economical sharing is necessary |

no they're not... most of them aren't... the feminist movement had changed everything. Now women take care of themselves and provide for thier families just as men are. Equality is a wonderful thing, no? But i defenetly support the feminist way of thinking, however the fact is... some of the women still want to depened on their males for financial support.... |

Feminism served its purpose 30 years ago, now it's just bigoted reactionary crap that women use as a tool to get something for nothing. You make your own money but still expect men to pay for all your dates. You do your own thing but still expect men to be thinking of you all the time. You don't cook, clean, or do any kind of household chores, all so you can be independent and make your own money, but selfishly spend it all on yourselves unlike men who are supposed to spend their hard-earned money on you. You freely admit that you're attracted, for example, to men who can cook because it means you don't have to do all the work - so just what exactly ARE you bringing to the table in the relationship? Do you have ANYTHING to offer other than a nice warm hole?
That's not liberation. That's hypocrisy. I'm tired of hearing women whine. Feminism in every meaningful sense of the word is long dead, now it's just a philosophy of self-serving bull.
Any true supporter of "equality" between men and women would take on 60's responsibilities alongside 60's rights. That means being an equal partner in a relationship, not thinking it's "okay" to be selfish because you're a "weak" woman.
If you ask me, feminism is what killed romance in the first place. |
