I feel though as something was missing. It went by so fast I guess I didn't even have time to think and now that I am I think maybe I didn't enjoy myself as much as I should have. Eveyone was buzzing around everywhere I missed spending time and chatting with everyone. So now I am sad it is over.

Yep.. i agree with you there. I wish I spent more time talking with people (man, it's not like we didn't have enough time to do it -- party for 13 hours?!? Crazy!) |

If he was a red head wearing a white shirt with the word Ireland (and the shape of the country on it) it was my wee little Graham.

I first remember, weeks before, my inebriated attention being drawn from across the room when I first heard the words “White Ball” spoken. My friend’s description alone was enough to undeniably ensure my attendance. I remember our group traversing the first clear area of the Palais de Congres, crossing the threshold of the Trance Room floor and feeling the first surge of music wrap itself around us. I remember somewhere in the middle of Armin van Buuren’s set, closing my eyes and taking a deep breath, as if I could possibly draw more of this feeling into me by doing so. But most of all, I remember the smiles and embraces of the multitude of friends that I was a part of that night. Whether it was a look caught in the momentary flash of a strobe against a familiar face, or talking close amidst the drifting sheets and floating spheres of decorum, I will forever remember the connection that wove innumerable people through a common thread at Bal en Blanc.
To delineate and appraise the quality of the music with my neophyte level of trance knowledge would be embarrassing – suffice to say that even when it appeared to me to be a single, dynamic, kaleidoscope beat, I absolutely found it difficult to express anything but UNDYING LOVE for every second of it.
It would somehow be lacking to use words like appreciate or thanks for the friends that invited me into and made me part of their group. Instead, all I can hope for is that on the other side of my memories, in the minds of those with which they were shared, there rests some strangely persistent flashes or interludes that will continue our connection for some time to come.
