funny one Graham- I was wondering about zee madness in your head that you speak of, i remember you leaving our room real quick after, wondered if all was ok.... nice too that Armin's ear's perked up at the oi... screamed in unison. let's make it a TOTA cheer- oi oi oi oi *&^%$#@ oi....
hopefully they don't try an kill us with the smoke machine next year.... especially knowing that some ois might be uttered by happy TOTAs.

ok - I am now bummed out as I met a new friend at Bal en Blanc and never exchanged personal details. My little Caroline( who was the coolest) she travelled from afar to attend Benb alone and we were buddies for a looong dance period- all of Armin, where might she be:( yes, yes, yes some of you might think what does it matter for she spoke little English and I speak what little Francais I picked up while I was in Montreal... tee hee. but really, what a shame!! our connection was the universal one, you know... the one the one that come with the beat of the music and how one moves to it - I went to the house room and when I returned Caroline was gone, so was my crew that I found a while later but Caroline, my little Caroline - sorry I couldn't say good bye.....:sadgreen:

I know Erika, Sally and Sandrine spoke to her but if anyone knows of Caroline- my kindest regards and it was just so nice that the two of us found each other amongst the 12000 devotees there... and danced up a storm too.

Au Revoir... mon petit Caroline.

What I loved most about this event was the fact that so many of the people I came with had no idea what they were getting themselves into when agreeing to forgo Easter festivities in their homes and coming with us to celebrate Easter a completely different way.

So many amazing people, and such awesome music. I felt that it lasted way too short, I wish we could have stayed there longer but I did feel satisfied and spent when walking out that door. I have experienced this before when going to an event in Montreal and then going to an event in Toronto. The times are all different and in Montreal you can enojoy it that much more, dance that much harder and smile that much longer because you know you don't have to go home just yet. It's 8 o'clock and you still have a lot of party left.

too bad you didn't meet any of us :(

lol! i guess in my state it seemed bigger! ;) plus i think there were lots more people there, or the fact that i had to walk through the crowd like a zillion times looking for my friend made it seem a lot bigger! :toothless

maybe next time i'll get to meet you all! ;)

I first remember, weeks before, my inebriated attention being drawn from across the room when I first heard the words “White Ball” spoken. My friend’s description alone was enough to undeniably ensure my attendance. I remember our group traversing the first clear area of the Palais de Congres, crossing the threshold of the Trance Room floor and feeling the first surge of music wrap itself around us. I remember somewhere in the middle of Armin van Buuren’s set, closing my eyes and taking a deep breath, as if I could possibly draw more of this feeling into me by doing so. But most of all, I remember the smiles and embraces of the multitude of friends that I was a part of that night. Whether it was a look caught in the momentary flash of a strobe against a familiar face, or talking close amidst the drifting sheets and floating spheres of decorum, I will forever remember the connection that wove innumerable people through a common thread at Bal en Blanc.

To delineate and appraise the quality of the music with my neophyte level of trance knowledge would be embarrassing – suffice to say that even when it appeared to me to be a single, dynamic, kaleidoscope beat, I absolutely found it difficult to express anything but UNDYING LOVE for every second of it.

It would somehow be lacking to use words like appreciate or thanks for the friends that invited me into and made me part of their group. Instead, all I can hope for is that on the other side of my memories, in the minds of those with which they were shared, there rests some strangely persistent flashes or interludes that will continue our connection for some time to come.

JEREMY!!!! It IS You!! Everyone, this is Jeremy -- he was rollin' with us at Bal en Blanc (dude -- i thought these were your words of poetry!!)

Awesome review man!! Tears in my eyes, i tell ya!

People, it's true what he wrote -- as soon as he heard of White Ball (from Greg -- GQStyles) his ears perked up and he was SOOO EXCITED to go! I've never seen someone get so excited every time we go out! Jer, you rock man.

I remember her.I agree that she was really cute and seemed like a cool person. I spoke to her a few times(je parle francais comme il faut osti!), but she was very shy, may be cuz she was alone?. From what I remember she was from suburbs and she wasn't a TA. At the end of the night by 9 or to 10am I saw her with a few guys in the Playground room..lol.she recognized me and smiled...that's it.

p.s. I hope I helped you somehow...

Yeah.. this was my first Easter away from the family in my life. A part of me felt bad, but I definitely don't regret going to Montreal!!

Maybe one day when I go back to MTL I'll hit one of those afterparties. I've only ever been to the Comfort Zone (once) here in Tdot and that only lasted until 11:30 (i stayed till 10:30 @ BenB) so in comparison I never REALLY went to a REAL afterparty yet :)
