IN' INSANITY !!!

No party in Toronto will probably ever compare to what we witnessed at Bal en Blanc. Almost everything was done amazingly.

- Venue was incredibly big, and even during its busiest moments there was room to dance and move around(and it did get busy, some of the workers told me that 14,000 tickets were sold). Some people are saying that for Deep Dish it was indeed packed. Well, yes and no. It was somewhat packed, but wasn't Guvernment packed and there was still lots of room on the sides; however it did indeed get pretty hot in that room. Not sure why. Aria room had great temperature.

- Sound was awesome.

- Crowd. All I can say is that I hope that one day Toronto parties will have a similar crowd.

- The vibe was crazy, though nobody really cared for the DJs. Everybody was just dancing and having fun.

- Organization of the event was excellent. However I'm someone pissed that I never got a CD and t-shirt that were promised(by the time I wanted to get my t-shirt, there were only large-female t-shirts left) and apparently the CDs didn't event exist. But then again I only paid regular cover for those VIPs, so I can overlook that.

- Preach played a great opening set. Really enjoyed it while hanging out with other TAs in the vip lounge. Later on talked with Preach a little bit, and he's a great guy!

- Armin van Buuren. To be honest, I thought he would suck. The last 5 times that I've seen him he's been pretty ty. He would put on many fillers and there would be no flow in the set. Not tonight ! Pretty much every track was awesome, and the flow was really good. I went nuts when he played Mark Norman - Phantom Manor. That track really kicks ass. PVD played it too. Armin really surprised me. Great job !

- Paul van Dyk. Before the party pretty much everyone except RJ, thought that PVD would kick Armin's ass. HOwever, in this case it was the other way around . PVD only played for 2 hours, played at least 5 tracks that were earlier played by Armin and just generally played weak tracks. There were maybe 4-5 tracks that were awesome, the rest was blaahh. (IMHO) He should really stop playing "Time of our lives". This track is starting to get on my nerves. Nevertheless I did get some enjoyment out of the set, mostly due to the awesome vibe in the venue.

- I'm not going to review Marco G, mostly because I'm not a big fan of his sound.

- Caught a few minutes of Deep Dish, but didn't like it. Again, not my style.

- As always it's been awesome hanging out with all the TAs. Special thanks to everyone involved in the organization and driving of our convoy of 2 vans. Without you guys it wouldn't be nearly as much fun.

Overall awesome times. Probably one of the best parties I've ever attended. I will definitely not forget it for a long long time. If next years Bal en Blanc will have a similarly great line-up, consider me there !

TOTAs were all over that Congress Centre and we only ran into Malek Zing, Ace_V and Louis. Lame Lame Lame.
