Y is trance less popular than hiphop?????

hey TA's ...
i was just wonderin' .. al of us here r prob real Trance addicts ,,, the music is great and uplifring ,,, it energizes u like crazy ,,, but y do most ppl think its the worst genre of music ,, to be honest with u ,,, if u say i listen to trance to someone (most ppl) they'd say "trance is gay ... its horrible " ...
basically, am just wondering how do ppl actauuly prefer hip hop than trance, ? whats there to like about hip hop, a bunch of "bad boys" talkin bout their women, weed n sex ,,, it gets boring .. the subject is brought on over n over again ,,, Thats my opinion // NO DISRESPECT TO THA FANS IN ANY MEANS ...
so what do u guys think ? |

i think you are associating underground with bad music

most people listen top 20 music as a way to associate with pop culture and their peers |

That's a really ignorant comment to make, just as not all trance revolves around the supersaw (although it seems like it sometimes) not all hip-hop revolves around the "bad boy" personna (although it seems like it sometimes).
Personally I like hip-hop. Hell I like just about any form of music. And I'm not sure what you mean by trance being underground - if, as you said, people have heard it:

then it follows that it must not be as underground as you thought it was. Or maybe you meant underground = bad? Or maybe you meant trance isn't as popular as hip-hop? Please clarify. |

Haha actually when I listen to any sort of energetic music I drive more slowly, but if I put on something like Boards of Canada I drive faster. |
