4 minutes left, Raptors down 81-87, in the midst of a strong run, make another key defensive stop.... Vince picks up the loose ball, tosses it to the top of the key, starting the rush.. FOR THE ING WIZARDS AS ANTWAN JAMISON SAYS THANKS FOR THE FREE PASS!!!!
Then, Vince stands there as Antwan does a floating finger-roll right over him, putting them up 89-81, and the momentum is gone.

lol...yeah, no kidding. it's not even just fans complaining...this no-Dunk, no-effort Carter has almost become common knowledge.
I'll paraphrase badly, because I'm stoned :p, buut after one particularly athletic dunk by Carter, one commentator says something like 'that wasn't (Carter) tonight, though'...other announcer chuckles, 'no...that was a loooooong time ago!'.

he said he was joking about the no dunk comment .. what a lameass sense of humor .. the only thing funnier is Peddie's face

I didn't even interpret that as really being a joke...because I don't think he was kidding, lol...so then he just covered his ass a bit when he said it was a joke :D |

If he gets his 20 by shooting 5/25 then no we won't win 60% of our games. Carter needs to play within the system and let the game come to him. That being said, I can't complain about the way he played last night. I only saw the second half but at least he wasn't being a and floating all his shots on net, and actually took it strong to the hole.[hence the 3 dunks]
Oh BTW, who said we won't trade carter for shareef? That deal's still on the table, Babis shopping carter around cuz for some reason, his stock has gone up a little in the last little while and is looking for the best deal for us. |
