| Wow. Looks like the Raptors really stinked tonight. Eric Williams and Araujo is just cold. |

the beginning of the game was really encouraging...and it went downhill from there :(
Araujo more than held his own in the 1st quarter...he even schooled Shaq early on with a fake and a lay in, lol. Bosh was a monster, especially early on...fadeaway, back for a block, back down the floor for a dunk...Alston stepped up too...but that was about it.
I missed a good chunk of the 2nd half...why didn't Araujo play again??? He finished with only 15 minutes, wtf? |

last night was a prime example of how shaq's presence alters a game. Early foul trouble hurt us. Bosh had to sit after getting out to an incredible start. Hoffa started well but in the end couldn't contain shaq's moves to the middle of the court. We threw everything we had at him, and when we doubled, his teammates made the open shot, which normally isn't the case. Our offense wasn't stellar for stretches in the game, and since that's our greatest strength as a team, we struggled. The 3 wasn't falling at all, most likely cuz we couldn't work from 'inside-out' with shaq being in the middle.
Even tho we were getting blown at points, the guys still played hard, and if the threee miraculously started falling we probably wouldn't have been destroyed. However, this will be a good test game for the raps as a team, as we've been rolling recently and a bad game like this should provide a test of confidence to see if they can bounce back next game vs the bobcats. We lost, but at least it wasn't an ugly loss. |

seems as tho no one wants to post about the raps when they play like ass.
Well they won last night. Coming from 19 down. I didn't see it cuz I don't get the score. You think jalen wants to leave now? |

that's right...JALEN IS THE MAN! (ok, Bosh too, haha)
Jalen must stay...everyone will notice that I've said this from the beginning...if we lose him, we'll regret it come playoff time. This guy shrugs off pressure likes it's nothing...he seems to crave it. He draws the foul and nails two free throws to seal the win. There's no one else on the team I'd rather see in that situation...
wtf was that b.s. with Nash getting tossed the other day? It looks like he barely said anything and got two technicals and thrown out fo the game?
...if a rookie does that, fine...this is the MVP of the first half of the season...where's the respect??? (and if there's any doubt that he's the MVP, just look how bad Phoenix sucks with him out of the lineup, haha)
I'm also LOVING the rookie bosses...Mitchell has been incredible from the start...and now Babis apparently playing hardball with other teams. Everyone is bitching that he wants too much for Marshall...GOOD! WTF, we didn't exactly score on the Carter deal...they expect us to give Marshall away? From the quotes coming from other teams, they seem more ANGRY than critical...they must really want Marhsall and are pissed off that Babis demanding some real value. *thumbsup* to Babon this one...just don't go too far and blow it, cause he'll bolt after this season for sure. |

oh yeah, I'm with you on that one... as long as Babdoesn't give in to those demands and sells out too low, Raps are gonna be rocking.
and that was a tight win against the Pacers.. but still a win.
on the other hand, did anyone notice Brad Miller's 38 points and 17 rebounds last night? goddamn! |

| Gotta give them credit for last night. I refused to leave my house, which severely cut into my pre-drinking time for going out last night, but it was well worth the sacrifice. I knew they wouldn't let the wiz have a series sweep, but after the first half, I was doubting myself. We simply can't find a way to play well against them, and they always bounce us off the boards. Good job sticking with it, and hopefully this will rebuild some of the confidence they'd seemed to be losing after last week's 3 game skid. They're gonna need confidence given some of their upcoming matchups. |

what's also pissing me off is that mourning's contract will be bought out and i heard he will play for miami, which has a good shot at getting to the finals...i hate that guy!! :whip: :whip: |
