hell yeah...Davis and his attitude will be gone next year...Raps just saved 20 mil. on next year's cap by ditching Jalen and Aaron Williams, maybe more if they trade Eric W too.

we now have cash to sign Mike James, which means Bosh is even more likely to stay. If we're going after a big man, prefrably a true centre, who would NOT want to have a chance to start at C with a frontcourt of Bosh and Charlie V? We should start a Ben Wallace petition now :p

Which first round went?

Embry is going to have to find a SG to replace Jalen, but no major loss.
MarkT
it was the Denver 1st rounder (so not our own potential 1st overall lottery pick, lol)

looking at centres who will be unrestricted free agents after this season...Ben Wallace, Joel Przybilla and Nazr Mohammed.

So it looks like Bryan Colangelo is going to be next prez/Gm....last years executive of the year with Phoenix! WOW what a turnaround from the start of the season when the raptors were the joke of the NBA. This is great news simply because it instantly gives the team tons of respect throughout the league especially when dealing with free agents.

^^^ as long as they keep Mitchell.

the LAST thing this team needs is yet another head coach

I'm glad to see him apparently coming on board...but Embry would have been fine.

Ya I agree... if they are planning on building around the players they have now then Mitchell should stay since he seems to have good chemistry with all of them. Finally some stability

Now its official,

Three untouchables on the Raps, IMHO...Bosh, Charlie V and...oh yes...MoPete.

MoPete sinks all three free throws after being fouled with seven seconds to go on his 3pt attempt...now that is clutch.

but...another ty loss in OT :(

they desperately need a legit big man to help on the boards.
infinity HiGH
They need defense. And I don't think anyone is untouchable, with the exception of Mitchell and Bosh. Every one of those other players are good offensive players but when it comes to defense, the team needs a lot of work.

Raps win a close game. Finally.

At least the Raps play a lot of close games. Too bad they lose most of them.

Mr. Colangelo, max money for Ben Wallace if you have to.

I think you're right.
Unless Wallace is bored with playing with Pistons for some reason.

Who else is out there for free agent though?
MarkT
no one special...

Joel Przybilla, Nazr Mohammed, Nene...no one who can step in and plug that gaping hole at C and grab a ton of boards.

While I can't see Detroit letting Ben get away...I think that if they don't resign him before he's a free agent, the Raptors should loudly offer max money.
