Tiesto - Live @ Energy 2000

Programming is great on this set, but the first mix wrecks. It's not exactly a flawless set.

lol.. no where near a flawless set.. u can hear minor mismatched beats thruout the whole set. and when the mix in 'on' its still not 100%...just dont sound clean. tiesto is always this way everytime i heard him live and on his mix compilations as well.

because youre arguing about mixing skills with someone who is a great mixer themselves.

And from the way you spoke about traktor, and final scratch in this thread, you dont have much knowledge on mixing yourself.

In what way are Sasha and Digweed pioneers of EDM? You won't find anything they've done that qualifies. Pioneers of "progressive" might be a more accurate idea. But you're right BBB shouldn't be compared to Sasha or Digweed, because he was battling DJ's using House music before Sasha bought his first record. He was included alongside legends such as Frankie Knuckles, Armando, and Fast Eddie as a guest mixer on Chicago's pioneering Hot Mix 5 radio show when Digweed was learning how turntables work. He became a Chicago hero in 1988 when he won the midwest DMC finals against seasoned hip hop DJ's long before Sasha and Digweed shared their first kiss. He's the one who's been "doing this for years" Years before Sasha and Smokeweed. Get a clue you downey asshat.

Now, this is way off topic...this thread isn't about which DJ is better than another.

Hey I'm actually kind of surprised that someone mentioned Baby Anne.
I also happen to have that same exact CD, and I'll attest to the fact that she mixed it skillfully.

I'd also like to mention that she's easy on the eyes, if I do say so myself. :D

It dosent matter who learned first, its who makes the best of it in the end. And in this case, Sasha and Diggers are way over BBB when it comes to skills. Their sets flow beautifully, unlike BBBs 30 tracks in 1 hour sets.

I here all this talk about BBB and I start to gag. He's an ok DJ, but just cause he can scratch doesn't make him any better than progressive DJ's. I mean look at Anthony Papa, he kicks BBB's ass. He like BBB, started as a turntablist and was a DMC champ, then switched to progressive. Papa, Digweed, and Sasha leave everyone in the dust.
