| Manuel Le Saux has some super spot on mixing i've been listening to his show for like 4 months or so now and i've never heard the slightest things wrong. He's on Trancesphere radio on monday afternoons. |

Holden's Balance 005 has some excellent transitions, especially tracks 2-5 on disc 1
(
2. Meta.83 - Metalgroove Ep: Antrieb
3. Jake Fairley - Oshawa
4. Zeta Reticula - Tool 1
5. Petter - All Together
)
I know his live mixing is nowhere near this level, but the transitions in this section are incredible, it took quite a few listens before I was able to pick out exactly where the next track comes in and the previous one cuts out. |

Funny you mention that because I alwaya thought that Balance mix was a disaster. He's not exactly a good DJ. Production should remain his focus.
Best Mixing I've ever heard live was probably Seb Fontaine this year at Pacha Ibiza. He was ing awesome and technically FLAWLESS, and i'm the biggest trainspotter for mixes ever. |

Slightly off topic, but what was his track selection like?
I used to be a huge Seb fan, but recent years I have gone off him severely... |

| It wasn't what I expected to hear, it was really stripped down and drummy. Lots of Clubby tracks that were sort of stompin tribally house. Less of the Technical sound I came to expect. But that might just be becuase he was warming up for Eric Morillo. All in All it was ing Mint, his stuff sounded PERFECT on Pacha's sound system. |

| That I have seen live would definitely be James Zabiela. Anthony Pappa was also a genius, some of the stuff he was pulling off earlier this year was insane. |

I completely agree, the transitions between those tracks are simply amazing. Especially before Petter's All Together comes in, the three tracks before it just flow very nicely. Also on that CD, I like the transition between You Are Sleeping and These Days. :) |

The best live mixing I've experience was definitely Digweed Summer of 2003 in Boston.He went on early that night and built up the vibe with smooth seamless perfectly matched tracks and creative transitions then tore it it up with interesting mixing techniques and tweaks of the bass (especially Roland Klinkenberg-Bounce)...Basicly the whole set flowed so well and the transitions were so smooth that it was difficult to tell when the next track was actually coming in.
The Best Mixers I've heard live: John Digweed,Sasha,Danny Howells,John Debo,Ali Ajami,D:Fuse,Carl Cox,Roger Sanchez,and Steve Gerrard |
