I definitely agree. He gets a ton of credit for being very innovative with his mixing. And while sometimes it's not perfect, when it is, it's golden. |

I'm pretty picky about beat matching, however, if he brings excellent track counteraction and keeps the sliding to a minimum (ie. catching errors quickly), I will probably be satisfied.
Saw Sander on Friday (4th time) and he has yet to disappoint. Hernan has been the same way in two times seeing him. Heard one slight beatmatch error, maybe. Could have been the sound system, but I'm pretty sure I heard a correct. I am excited to see Luke Fair though, as I love the ethereal prog sound that his production indicates he would spin. |

| Luke Fair will impress you .. Hopefully you get to hear him spin a nice deep progressive set. Last I saw him he kicked out a wicked progressive breaks set to open for Zabiela, so you may see the same. |

The old Armin Van Buuren sets were actually quite good IMO... for example, in Boundaries of Imagination, he mixes Gamemaster into Voco Me quite nicely... but then again like 273489 DJs have played Gamemaster over top of another track at some point or another.
Also, "The Trance Session" is a very nice little mix. Armin does some layering... LSG - Netherworld over another track that I can't remember the name of.
I've never heard anything that interesting from Tiesto of PvD. Their transistions tend to be pretty standard. |

Live: John Digweed, Avalon Boston, this past august. I swear there was never even the slightest hint of a record drifting ever. There was never any incorrect levels, no track ever came in even slightly louder or softer than the last, no basslines ever clashed or overlapped, and everything was harmonically sound. It really was perfect.
CD: Sasha + John Digweed on Nothern Exposure 2: West Coast (after 3 years of djing myself, I still have a trouble figuring out when tracks go in and out on that CD) |

| Yah of course Zabiela is the hot . Last time I heard J00F, he had flawless mixing. And hernan is good as well, still remembering that night he played. |

| Miss Kittin - Electroclash has some great mixing imo. It so creative the way she does it. Tiesto - Summerbreeze is amazing imo as far mixing goes. The eqing and beatmatching are all spot on. |

when he wants to, Tiesto can mix like no one, i.e:
Live @ Hyperstate 99
Live @ Dance Department (19-02-00)
Magik 6
flawless mixing
and if you want to hear something sophisticated, try some tribal techno exquisite mixes from Cave, complex as Zabiela but much less boring :disbelief |
