Overall, not a bad night. It had A LOT of potential but as a lot of people mentioned, too much bs. The first floor was packed with asian senior citizens, there was honestly only like 8 bathroom stalls in the whole club, fights and it was so in hot. My night ended in the worse note being pulled aside by the police and detained for about 45 minutes, pretty in lame. I had a great time hanging w/ my friends though and PVD had some excellent tracks. O'Bir ripped it up. Exit/Ikon is a hole, too bad PVD had to spun at such a trash club, i'll never go back. Also saw a lot of TAs.

Well intersting nite because I got there late,since I got to New York late aswell. I went to the front and saw Alyssa holding my ticket (thank you soooooooooooooooooo much for waiting) Then I to go at the end of the line and I was like OMG I am gonna getin around 3am :( but it I amazed that I was already end before 11pm. They weren't checking ID's so I guess anyone who look old could have gotten in. So yeah I no problems getting to the dance floor.But I was like how the hell do I get down there because I was oh I can seee everyone :) .
I caught Jon 0 Bir's last hour and it was solid  .I actully had room to dance the whole night but some saw I didn't dance 40% of the night :haha: :haha: :haha:.I loved how the setup Ikon to give it that GodsKitchen feel and look.Never expect anything like this so everything was just amazing.Those Big Plasmas owned too
I know some of you may be like whaaaaa but that actully my third time hearing Sasha - Expander and my first time hearing it live in the club but the as the count began to 2005 and then mixing Expander into now that was so in sick :crazy: :crazy: :crazy: .I know I was going to enter a night of pure bliss/crazyness.Now PVD set was really good but I didn't like that one Happy Hardocre Scooter type track ewwww and I agree with Darkangel Oceanlab - Satellite was very unnecessary no matter what mix but what but was annoying was when he played As The Rush Comes I felt like go deaf.

The only down falls where of coruse the stupid fight which I steeped in because I said what the hell I don't want Vlad going solo and I also Joey and Blitzm stepped and I am not sure who else. Also wasn't sure abuot it but they PS2 where where I wanted played some playstation games butthe music was pulling me in. :eek: :crazy:

Overall loved hanging out with my friends....you all made the night. The line was awesoem fun, Tony you should have jsut done it :toothless The first few hours on the floor where awesome, the count down was great....baby I meant what I said to you ;). Btu at 3:30 when I saw the fight on the floor it was time to bounce. I am jsut upset I never got my dance on like I wanted to. :(
If we could have taken PVD with us on our backpockets it would have been great. I thought both him and Jon did an awesome job. I don't know how or why things went bad, I belive that security was not doing there job, I mean blades where taken in, someone dropped the ball on that, but can't let it ruin my great time. Afterparty was great, along with the after after party. 401 K plan all over the place, thoug I never signed up for it, :crazy: I was on my own plan.
To Ikon, I made the right choice when I stopped going to EXIT and I will contiue that with IKON thanks but no thanks, PVD please never play there again. |
