Hey people how are you doing? Let me introduce myself – I just moved from Chicago, formally a Midwest TA now a NYTA!

I had fun last night, but I think it could have been better. Stabbings? Where did the fights take place, cuz I have no idea it happened!

In all, It was good, but PvD defn wasn’t into it. I think it would have been better had he played in a different club. Last time I saw PvD was in at the NEC Arena @ Birmingham – now that was awesome! Shout outs to the nyta’s that I met – Dj Pippen and his friend (sorry I forgot your name)…

Well I hope to see more nyta’s in the future…..do you guys have a meet up spot or something? I might goto Sander K tonight…

Take care! Enjoy!

Wow, the news on this thread is insane. I was thinking of going out to New York for this show, but now I'm so glad I didn't!!! Stabbings???!!!!:( That is f...d up!!!

I stayed in LA for TIESTO which was awesome! He was great, a good set, the Palladium was great, it was packed BUT they didn't overcrowd the place like they ususally do, the place was really going off, there was enough room to dance in the back (shocking), no fights, no stabbings!! It was a great night! Wow!

Yea i'm also very embarrased by the fights, especially after PVD praised the NYC crowd after Summerstage, i wonder what he thinks of us now? It's sad that a few s have to ruin the party for everyone else.

More like "What does he think about Ikon security and management?" I'm definitely glad his next NYC show is at Crobar :D

you mean those crap ones? Some of the good games were showed on the big screens, the ones you couldn't play :-). Well some of them. Also if you noticed, there were some games shown on the screen that are not yet released.. Just a small "Did You Know?" thing :)

Just heard a news story on NY1... they said "4 people were stabbed on W 56th st. early this morning, no arrests yet, investigation pending." They didn't associate it with Ikon on the news.. and nobody died. John's friend Jason Jollins saw one of the people who was stabbed; he was lying all bloody INSIDE the club...

Well it was 4 stabbings alisa and I just saw it on the news. My friend actually witnessed one of the victims. It realy sucks was a great night overall though. Shouts to Jay, Joey, Brian, Alyssa, Drew, Liz, Sal, Vlad, Lee and everyone else who was there. The music and the club may not be very memorable but the people from this board sure were, thanks guys.

I didn't think it was that crowded, atleast not like I expected it to be. I stayed on the dance floor all night and had enough room, it got a little tight for about 2 hours, but the rest of the night there was plenty of room. Armin at spirit a couple weeks ago was more crowded than last night. Got to the club at about 8 or so so I was right at the front of the line to get in, which made things easier.

I loved the show, O'Bir was sick, an awesome 21st bday gift to himself :) Xpander at midnight was amazing. Did he play Audioholics - External Key? There was a song he was playing that I couldn't get the name of it, then I listened to that today and sounded like it to me, but of course everythings too fuzzy to know for sure. Paul played some great tracks, i think the second hour of his set was his best, starting off with Time of our lives and continuing through there with some great selections. Not sure what mix of Clocks he played but that was sweet, 4 Strings - Into The Night (Some Dub, not G&D), all the songs everyone else listed. Hearing Destroy She Said was awesome, he also played Tillmann Uhrmacher - On The Run (Ocean to Shore Mix), Lambda - New York. Can't think of anything else no one has said right now. Overall I had a great time, what a way to ring in 05. Happy New Year everyone.

i don't know if i should regret about not going to LA for Tiesto. PvD was good but it seems that people don't believe us. it was a good show, a fre fights but... go to Avalon it happens every night.

you know, i really hate drama at clubs...i mean, yeah it was Ikon and it used to Exit but ever since Godskitchen took over, I was really hoping that they would have a good party under their belt. I really do want them to stay, cuz they have the ability to bring in almost every dj that they have worked with overseas -- where they are considered a BIG name (and they have worked with almost everyone). i would def love to see Godskitchen and their parties thrive here in the Big Apple...

but anyways very crowded -- with some interesting characters and moments-- ie.
1) the topless black chick with the bookebag (i kinda missed that *shruggs*
2) the godskitchen grls on the stage and swinging on curtains -- and i heard boobies popped out also **shruggs*
3) in 40ish asian fobs looking at me and and my friends, and also bumping into me/fob grls rudely shoving through the crowds -- its like hello u look like u mite have children at home to take care of??!!! (but then again mebbe not) omg u dunno how MANY of those ppls i *decked/jabbed* with my elbow to get them the outta my way -- drew had to tell me to stop doing that
4) those fukin drunk white guys that were in back of us...they kept butting into us and i kept pushing/shoving back (drew even pounded a few on their backs but they were too drunk to notice) then two of them ing fell on their ass and we were all shoved a few feet :whip: i was soo fukin annoyed with that
5) just in general anyone that was getting in my face while dancing esp in such a crowded space, umm u dun have to throw out ur arms and hit ppl sheesh...i intentionally elbowed/pounded a lot of ppl, both guys AND grls

but enuff of the bad stuff...i loved Jon O Bir (definitely an excellent set, esp. around midnite :D - Xpander was a big surprise) and then PVD...I loved his set overall, and esp. hearing all these old skoo songs (destroy she said) and other edits (including PUNK  that i certainly didnt expect, omg he tore it up with that song yO :D)

will post up pics in awhile...but i had the MOST excellent time with my fellow NYTAs...thank you all who bought tickets from me, i was very happy to help out everyone..and esp. glad i was able to help out a few DCTAs and TOTAs with their tickets. loved seeing everyone

i hope everyone got a grab bag...and oh trunks, im sorry i grabbed that bag u found outta ur hands -- i thought i had dropped it on teh floor while i was dancing...only to find out 5 minutes lata that blitz had been holding my bag the entire time. MY BAD...i wasnt exactly coherent last nite *eeps* :-P

and also a shoutout to jay...GREAT preparty mannn...I really enjoyed that. :D thanks again
