lol true. i meant the crowded part, not the stabbings. funny enough, i did get a body search and bag search when i entered, and this did happen. but i never get any check at crobar and nothing like this ever happens there. |

| i dont know if i was in another club or what but i didnt know any of that stuff was going on.. we were by the stage and i had no problems back there.. i had the best new years ever but it did suck when they shut it down early. Oh well... |

Just woke up a lil while ago...
O'Bir was def a nice treat before PVD came on...I heard pretty much his whole set and loved the tracks he played...def different from the usual openers of pvd...more headlining style. Loved it when the clock struck midnight and the buildup kicked...great timing Jon!
PVD's set was very good...I loved it when he played Destroy She Said :eyespop: ...i had a feeling hed play that. I had a great time bopping my head(hehe there was absolutely no room to dance til about 4) to all the tunes. I was on my way out when i heard the encore, couldve been better i thought...but whoever said PVD seemed very agitated after that first main floor fight was on point. He def seemed to be kind of turned off from the night after that.
I feel ambarrassed after last nights fights, because thats the kind of Paul HATES. As far as the drug part...well, eh hem....:rolleyes: . I just hope this didnt change Mr. Dyk's attitude about NYC. Its always a true treat when he comes.
Great time seeing all the TA's OWN the dancefloor as usual. :tongue2

Drew and Alyss---Great time hangin out on the floor with both of u. Me and Trish never made it to the afterparty as we had to attend "other" needs:eek: . Thanks again for the tix.
Brian and Joey---good to see u guys there last night. WMC is gonna be off the hook.
Good to meet some TA;s ---Cobra Commander, Miss Bliss...etc.
The club looked really great last night ...props to GK for a great job preparing. The lines and fight part were all security's fault.

Hey there. I just got out of my bed after last night party.
I arrived 20 minuts before the midnight and i saw the huge line at the main enterance. I don't know how those guys managed to get inside by midnight but hopefully they did (or at least part of them).
Jon O'Bir put me in the dance mood right the way which is a good sign. Show and angel's dressed people were amazing, especially if you have seen them from the upstairs. I got some video on my camera and share it with some friends in MSN, they got jealous. Paul van Dyk wasn't in the mood at all. I have never seen him before but he wasn't dancing and everything seemed to be so slow (on the stage, not under the stage on the mail floor). Music was great and it was nice to hear some of his old stuff but because i was watching him and people who were with him i saw that something was going on there and he was very upset. Plus fights.
I was staying till 6 am and i had a chance to talk to him for 5 secs before he left. he was def down but he was polite.
But in general it was a very good night with a very good music.
Heading to Crobar tongiht to kiss Sander's cheecks and dance.....
BTW, it was nice meeting some guys from TA. I didn't have a chance to talk to you guys but at least i know some of you already and .... slowly but surely....

Went to sleep around 9am and just woke up... good night... O'Bir ripped it up. And PVD playing Xpander at midnight was AWESOME! Those fights were , I'm really embarassed for DJ's perceptions of NYC clubs now. :( I saw all the asians being searched at the end but everyone else who wasn't asian was getting let out freely by the time I left at 5:30. Sucks for asians who had nothing to do with that who were detained, I wonder if Liz, Lyss, Drew, Jen, etc. had problems? Unfortunately in the long crowded line to get out, I lost my cell. :whip:
But the rest was awesome, really nice track selection IMO by both DJ's (I was definitely even feeling As the Rush Comes), excellent seeing all my friends and meetin a few newer TA faces... Joey, Brian, Vlad, Lyss n Drew, Blitz, Sal, BIG MIKE, partyhopper Dan representing right as always, Adam, Liz, Jen, Lee (YOU CRAZY, FOO), Jay, Chris, nice meetin Meredith, she was MADD COOL! And all the new TA's like slantzz and thero... y'all talk to me online now, guys. :p
What was up with that topless girl? lol... I had to flash her just to get even and she took a picture, hope that doesn't come back to haunt me. All in all except for the loss of the cell phone, it was a great night, what a perfect night getting close to some friends, and a perfect kiss at midnight with John ;) The dancers were awesome too, with the wings and the sheets! This is the first time I've actually seen Ikon put on a nice show.
