Of course she knows I think this way. See, she and I are both rather enlightened people and we are able to understand and recognize that there are differences between people and, yes, even the sexes. Please, continue to try to shape the world as you think it should be, if enough people agree with your vision then you will succeed, however, do not throw a temper tantrum and call people insensitive, chauvenistic, racist or what ever hot button word may apply simply because their view differs from your own. Again, this is another way in which there is inequality.... we do not all know the same things, we don't all have the same experiences, therefore we do not have the same opinions. I like it that way, clearly you do not.
The long and short of it is INEQUALITY EXISTS and INEQUALITY IS NECESSARY. INEQUALITY WILL ALWAYS EXIST because we as humans will not accept equality. The problem with equality is it diminishes individual rights, we will not stand for that because we all see ourselves as too valuable to be a secondary concern. |
Firstly, I did not completely disagree with your views. You have a right to them, as I have that same given.
Secondly, where we differ is that I believe that guidelines need to be set in order for people not to be taken advantage of. Anyone in business and in the legal field knows that when an opportunity is given, the ethical line will be crossed. Years of sitting through and hearing case after case is proof enough for me. I don't doubt that inequality will always exist, but is it always necessary? Well then IMO NO!

Well here's a newsflash....I DON'T DISLIKE YOU :stongue: sorry to burst your bubble.
What I do dislike is the tone that this thread is going in. The indifference I am hearing from certain TA's is very discerning and I am saying so.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but when derrogatory words and tones are thrown around loosely....there is no need for it and I have that right to say so. In the laymen terms that can be understood.
