I remember getting whipped with wooden spoons and spatullas. I'm not kidding! Either that or I would have to hold heavy books above my head until my mom said I could drop them. As you can tell, we are a... creative family. Time out corners? LAME!

dude, I hit OTHER people's kids when they aren't looking. Like this one time, some chick brought her kid to my house and I had the trailer hooked up to my car. I walk outside 10 minutes later and the kid had taken the safety chains off, and diconnected the trailer. The whole thing was on a hill and the metal foot that lifts the trailer off the hitch was cracking under the pressure and about to cream my frigging car.
I did a quick head swivel and then do the frigging Judo Backhand and grabbed him by his shirt and yelled at him (some swearing and threats were involved).
another time the kid actually started playing around on my motorcycle! Holy crap, atom bombs are just matter exploding out of a metal shell. I was fury exploding out of a human. That kid is a freakin sweetheart around me. I think he cries at night when he thinks about touching other people's motorcycles.
anyway, yeah I got hit as a kid, and in middle school I got my ass kicked. It fixed me right up and for males especially...understanding that there is a hierarchy in life is one of the most important lessons ever to be learned. |
