I sound so stupid? Why don't you answer the question! What genre of music does Sasha spin? Or do you not want to answer with Electro, House and Progressive? I'm sorry, maybe I should have made it more specific... Deep Progressive/ Deep House... hahahahaha.

why don't you answer the question i asked you first? what trance tracks does he play? look at a recent set list of his and point em out, that is, since you know everything...

oh, and deep house? lol :haha: i pray you were kidding.

Unfortunitely there isnt a tracklist to the night he spun. And yes, he spins Deep Progressive. Am I wrong? o_O

enough is said to indicate it's a fundacion residency on his site... i wonder if it's monthly again or if it's going to be bi-monthly thanks to the new res.s in dc etc

Yes you are wrong :) He does not play progressive...Not too many djs are playing progressive anymore...Hernan Cattaneo is an exception

Sasha has been playing acid influenced tech - house ie. Trentemoller type tracks (Beta Boy, Rykettid, Friday (trentemoller remix),Electro (M.A.N.D.Y. tracks,Holderman tracks) and even straight up acid house (Speedcats - Speedcats (Roel H Mix), Rui Da Silva - Punks Run wild)

He mixes in the occasional funky house track but there is no progressive really the only track u can even consider progressive is Dub Horizon from G and D

I guess things have changed a lot for him since June 2005. He played a nice variety but there was definitely some prog in there with his electro bit and some house. He played it all.

Not really...I saw him twice in June....He's not really playing too much differently than in June....not the same tracks but the same style

According to Trunks, it's never the same type of set with Sasha. :)

It wasn't the same type of set....It was tech-house in New York and more funky Electro in Boston...some of the tracks overlapped but he in general is sticking to the electro and acid-tech tracks right now which are very hot in the club scene right now...Even Armin has dropped Pryda - Aftermath

Sasha was playing armin style trance back in the late 90s but he got on with the times...Why don't you listen to Global Underground Ibiza or the Northern Exposure Series which I personally still enjoy but it's OLD :)

I think someday you'll mature in your musical tastes...

Bring On Sasha :)

K Thanx Bye

I have some Tenaglia, Digweed and Sasha mixes and cd's. Never said I didnt like or listen to it. In fact I enjoy it a lot along with a lot of other EDM. But Trance is on top for me. Armin #1!!! :p

And I have to add, after seeing Digweed in September he would be my #2 favorite DJ to see live. :D One of my favorite sets ever is his Essential Mix from Global Gathering in 2005. Funny enough, my least favorite track from the mix is Aftermath but I havent heard it in a club yet so I will have to hope Armin drops it. Was the same when I heard Shivers. I didnt like it when I heard it on cd then when Armin threw it down at Spirit I ended up liking it a lot.
