Looking forward to this, and also to his new album.

I'm just curious if he'll be able to release some sick tracks again on this cd; like Athena and Olympic flame on his previous
havokddg
he might be taking this series too far....?

It annoys me slightly how people think this is just a money-spinner.

YES, he's probably motivated by a desire to regain the #1 spot.
YES, he maybe feels he's losing some support.

But at the end of the day, what else did you all expect? The only way he can respond to his critics and get himself back on top is to show what he can do, produce the goods. Condemning this as an attempt to gain some quick cash is a bit harsh in my view - I can understand that interpretation, but it's far too cynical.

His desire to get back on top is a good thing; I was glad when he got knocked down.

Maybe he'll take a different direction with this album, maybe he'll put more effort in and try and come out with something truly impressive. Just maybe.

I'd be lying if I said I don't have any doubts about how this project will turn out, but until we hear the finished product we really can't criticise it.

good for him. shouldnt be that bad since i liked ISOS 4. just because hes number 2 doesnt mean hes gonna sink back into the distance. also, with this release, hopefully we can expect a tour that brings him somewhere near vancouver, and not a $74 TIC :(

There is some funky, weird stuff on ISOS 4, and that's right up my alley. I would love another Parade though, nevermind Nyana (which I love as well). But come on...I mean, I was at work, with DI in the background as usual on DJ mixes, and I was having like the busiest day and my head was spinning and all of a sudden Olympic Flame comes on and I smiled the rest of the day. I dunno, he does it for me. Yeah yeah, I haven't been listening to trance for 8 ing years, but I am a musician. I dunno, just heard so much OTHER stuff, that I tend to pick out the best qualities of songs and artists WHICH HE IS. P.S.-I love that pic of him haha he is the silliest dancer ;) Speaking of which, I'm so pissed I missed those capoiera dancers in Poland. That's awesome music and dance. I can appreciate things that are different. I even played Victorious (absolute fave song of his) for my metal-head boyfriend, and he thought it kicked ass. He also loved Urban Train Cosmic Gate remix. I mean, who doesn't? Come on people, he's put out some ... eek tracks BUT WHAT DJ HAS NOT????

La Noche on ISOS4 is like omg i die!
I <3 NY
Nyana = noob targeted album...sucked. This was the beginning of suckdom for Tijs.

ISOS 4 = Embarassing.

ISOS 5 = Tijs last chance for any true respect, other than from the noobs that hang from his nutsack like christmas ornaments.
washout
i didnt like a single of his magik albums.
didnt care for much of his production albums or mixed albums.
never minded isos though, so i look forward to 5.

Noob targetted album? That's not a proper criticism. Why would you say that? Is is because it had Motorcycle on it? Explain please.

It may have been the second trance CD I bought but it's still my favourite as far as vocal trance goes. Great track selection, great track arrangement and I don't hear anything wrong with the mixing.

Lunar Phase 7
Let's approach this album with open minds and ears, maybe we'll be pleasently suprised?

The answer is within your question.

The vocals catch the n00bs...not so much all vocals...but the crappy track on Nyana, ISOS4 and everything else he has done in the past years.

If Tiesto REALLYYYYYYY REEEAAALLLYYY REEEEAAALLLLYYY REEEAAALLLLYYY thinks he can reclaim his then lets seem him bust out another Magik...but he wont...why? cus he knows there isnt ANY trance tracks produced today worthy to go on a Magik series aka Magik 8.
