Pretty much agree with what a lot of people said here. When i first saw the thread, i thought it was a joke. hm... makes me wonder now.
All i have to say is that i hope he goes back to the original feel of ISOS. that dreamy opening, that sets the mood, and continues through the album, and concluding with an explosive ending.
If it's ISOS 5 : Los Angeles....i'm curious as to what the "mood" is going to be. both Panama [ISOS 3] and Latin America [ISOS 4] had their own feel/mood to it which was kinda nice.
but if this is going to be just some regular mix CD, then what's the point of calling it ISOS?
oh well.

looking forward to it, just hope he will be using live this time because his beatmatching ability has failed him alot in the last couple of years including on the isos4!
his trackselection and set-building is amazing and is what has brought him "a big part of the way" to the top, as a dj!
If he learns to use "Ableton live" properly, and we can get rid of those awful beatclashings, I think he can create a very promising Isos 5! |

ISOS was a legendary series until episode 4.
Tiesto disapppoints most people who loved 1-3.
He made a huge mistake by making 2 mixes for #4. There are many great tracks on #4 but with 2 mixes and 30 tracks there is too much average stuff on it that kills the flow.
Also Tiesto didn't put enough attention on his mixing. It wasn't flawless and smooth like 1-3.
And I don't know why he releases 4 and 5 in spring instead of late summer/fall like he did with 1-3.
The mood of ISOS 1-3 was so beautiful. You can feel how Tiesto was inspired by the Ibiza season when he compiled the mixes.
It's sad that Tiesto kills the In Search of Sunrise series by himself just for the money.
I think he recognized that trance is loosing it's popularity and it get's more and more difficult to sell cds. So he decided to make quick money as long as he's still that famous. |
I agree wIth yOu, 1-3 are beautiful, but 4 it's just an average mix compilation nothign special.
I hope he creates something special this time |

| ISOS4 was supposed to be Nyana2 but due to marketing strategies they released it as ISOS4..thus killing the legendary ISOS series imho |
