you'd be right. ;)
Anyway, I seriously don’t understand the issue with the headphones. It’s the ing headphones that came with my creative media player and whoever has one; knows for a fact that even at max volume it isn’t even that loud.
And besides, like Jayx1 said the question of whether it’s loud or not can only be determined by the person listening on their headphones. It’s not about being inconsiderate – its about realizing in the real world; you wouldn’t walk up to random people that are having a conversation about a topic you don’t find interesting and tell them to keep it down.
As if we don’t see countless people everyday shaking and gesturing their bodies to what might be considered loud music, it’s what they enjoy and if a little music gets under your skin like that; there is something else bothering you. |

Shure e2c...my best friend on the bus/subway...never have to turn the volume up high, blocks all outside noise, including subway, and nobody can hear what I'm listening to.
However, given the outlined scenario...I'd probably turn it down if it really was too loud (i've stood beside ppl in an elevator and the music was so loud that it was hurting my ears) |

I'm always really conscious of this. I don't blare my music, but it's certainly not a whisper in my ear - and even when it's at its loudest, I have taken off my earphones and I can barely hear it when they are out of my ears. I can't imagine having it so loud that others can hear it well enough to complain. |
Oh, I can - my volume is always a max! My Senns can tend to leak sound sometimes... and they're not a ing ty pair either.

I was told that I could listen to the radio at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven, I told Bill that if Sandra is going to listen to her headphones while she's filing then I should be able to listen to the radio while I'm collating so I don't see why I should have to turn down the radio because I enjoy listening at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven. |
OMG!! Milton! :( Poor guy... i love that movie... and so sadden by his treatment and predicament in life too!!:( :( Poor milton. i love that guy. |

Once i was studying in the library at the university and some biatch came up to me and asked me ( quite rudely) to turn down my headphones because apparently " Its like.. really really loud and annoying" as she put it....
i gave her the worst look and turned it down like 3 or 4 points...
right after she left and went back to her cubicle the guy in the cubicle behind her said
" you know.. if you want her to turn down her headphones the least you could do its stop slamming down on your lap top keys like a damn elephant"
it was SOO great
she gathered her things and huffed out of the library.. then he stood up and looked at me and said " damn straight"
hahah greatest day at school ever
too bad i haven't seen him again.. he seemed liek a solid dude!

Exactly... and im sure the woman on the bus does "annoying" things that other people dont complain about.
Bottom line is that some people are nit pickers and i have no time for nitpickers. If someone is complaining about headphones i bet i could find a million things wrong with how they are behaving.
Bottom line is that consideration is a 2 way street. Even at their worst headphones are a MINOR annoyance which one should expect when using public transport along with crowds, BO, and other unpleasentries. In fact, headphones have to be probably the least concern when on a bus when i think about it. So instead of having consideration for nitpicky and rude control freaks, maybe they need to have consideration for the person listening to his music and suck it up for 10 minutes. Otherwise you are free to buy your own car and have all the peace and quiet you want. |

Exactly. Personally I would much rather hear someone's music (no matter how bad) on the bus than those people who talk so loud on their cellphone that it seems they want the whole world to know their life. :whip: |

Ive turned down my music before because somebody asked me. No real problem.
I could still hear my music, and they could get some sleep, everybody wins. |
