I think that you misunderstand what the rest of us are saying: Classics and suprises are good, it is the predictability of the NBY -> TOOL -> FAA section of the night that stinks. And the fact that there has not been a set in a long time that I have attended where Crush, NBY and TOOL were not played. I would love to see him drop Connected or Everywhere I go or even Club Attack again in a non-predictable way. |

brian, you do know that when we saw picotto that night, the club was not 100% capacity (they shut off a section). so you didn't even hear/see the full thing |

well PVD on saturday night def had its disappointments. when i got there i couldnt believe what a nice area the rosland ballroom was in, lotsa lights, lotssa people walking aorund the streets, im usually a good NYC driver but i almost had a nervous breakdown, i was flippin everyone off who was honkin at me while i was trying to find a parking spot. finally i said fuk it and tried those parkades,well instead of having a bright sign saying full, they make you pull all the way in, then a guy comes out and says....sorry were full, well then you have to back out on a busy NYC street full of ignorant taxis, well i did this about 3x and said fukk this i dont care how far away i have to park i'll park on the street. luckily i found a legal spot a few blocks over...not bad. walked to the club, no line at all, they had everthing running smoothly. i was very impressed with the rosland ballroom,. very nice set up. it was still pretty empty so i just had a drink scouted out the place a lil bit.
now all i came to do was dance and see my friends. well of corse all night long i had to get hit on by some obnoxious guys, everytime i tell somoene this they say" oh gee what a problem" but after a whiile it really does get aggravating. being hit on or given a compliment is very flattering, but when you get one of those guys that wont stop following u around it really gets annoying. and the thing is im not a mean person. i tried all the nice excuses in the book, plain out said i was engaged....everything. nothing worked. it was about 4am and i was at my wits end. finally i ran into my friend greg and his girlfriend , and i told greg to please help me and to tell this guy i have a fiancee and to leave me alone so finally aftre hanging w/ greg and his gfirend for a while he got off my case. i was just so annoyed at this point that it was a total mood killer, i said fukk it and left. the parts of pvds set i saw i enjoyed, and i got to crowd surf...lol...why? i have no fukking clue, all of a sudden i was in the air getting passed around....hehe, mad fun tho havent done that in years, esp at a EDM/ trance party. then to top it all off when i went to get my coat i realized i lost my coat check slip, so i had to get security to take me back and look for my coat..lol..luckily i found it.
i took a nice long nap in my car, woke up in the morning and got the hell outta NYC! its just depressing. its not the 1st time i had to leave a party b/c of a guy not taking the hint, and im too nice, im not ignorant enough to say get the fukk out of my face you . you would think saying im engaged, or im going to find my other friends, or i'll see you later would work, but no.so yet again i was robbed of 1/2 of pvds set!
mad good to see you TA's....brian, bree, jay, dave...i thought for sure alot more ta'S would be there but maybe i didnt see you guys. |

were you guys standing directly in front of the speaker stacks?
I was up front... first person in front of PVD, for the entire night, and I didn't have a problem... I wonder if there were some wierd sound nodes within the ballroom.. hmmmm...
skytrance - sorry to hear about that. I never get why people do that, and I saw a fair bit of it the other night. It's rediculous that a girl has to go out w/ a guy or guys to not be pestered :whip: :whip: |

Some people might consider me a guido just by looking at me and I never go out an harass girls..hell i barely talk to them...b/c i go out to dance and have a good time with my friends...if i meet someone then its just an added bonus to an already amazing evening. |
