| I enjoyed the party. Had to drive 5 hours back at 7:30 am and still haven't gone to bed but made it to my test today!! And if you still haven't figured the Coast 2 Coast song, I think that's the one with the German vocals, I got it from some ETN mix he did? Want me try and put it up? I still think he's numero 1 DJ!! Ok, and he played this song at some point, it went like, donde esta, donde fue... Any ideas!? I wish he would've played some of the old ones I'd heard, he had a really nice mix of some U2 songs, and I wouldn't have complained about a little nothing but you. Probably played it and I don't remember it. Oh well. It was fun!! Guess the Otherside we'll be in Miami in a couple of weeks!! :crazy: Didn't see any drunk people, though. Hmm. Oh well. |

considering that you claim leaving at 7:30, I assume that you stayed until the end of the party. As it has been established from multiple independent sources that NBY was played, you must have not heard it, or:

Full Blown - Strip Poker (Asle Dub)..thats the track I waited n waited for.. but it never came. He had it playing in the background before nearly every other song between 4:30 - 6am. Everytime I thought it was coming...he would mix another track into it..like time of our lives and wundervoll and all the other songs he played between 4 n 6am.
Anyways, besides that it was a good night....the venue was good as there was ample space to dance upfront....n I didnt have any problems with the sound?! |

Always good parking on West 53rd between 9th and 11th ave. Its free and you can walk to the Roseland in well under 10 minutes.

now all i came to do was dance and see my friends. well of corse all night long i had to get hit on by some obnoxious guys, everytime i tell somoene this they say" oh gee what a problem" but after a whiile it really does get aggravating. being hit on or given a compliment is very flattering, but when you get one of those guys that wont stop following u around it really gets annoying. and the thing is im not a mean person. i tried all the nice excuses in the book, plain out said i was engaged....everything. nothing worked. it was about 4am and i was at my wits end. finally i ran into my friend greg and his girlfriend , and i told greg to please help me and to tell this guy i have a fiancee and to leave me alone so finally aftre hanging w/ greg and his gfirend for a while he got off my case. i was just so annoyed at this point that it was a total mood killer, i said fukk it and left. the parts of pvds set i saw i enjoyed, and i got to crowd surf...lol...why? i have no fukking clue, all of a sudden i was in the air getting passed around....hehe, mad fun tho havent done that in years, esp at a EDM/ trance party. then to top it all off when i went to get my coat i realized i lost my coat check slip, so i had to get security to take me back and look for my coat..lol..luckily i found it.
i took a nice long nap in my car, woke up in the morning and got the hell outta NYC! its just depressing. its not the 1st time i had to leave a party b/c of a guy not taking the hint, and im too nice, im not ignorant enough to say get the fukk out of my face you . you would think saying im engaged, or im going to find my other friends, or i'll see you later would work, but no.so yet again i was robbed of 1/2 of pvds set!
mad good to see you TA's....brian, bree, jay, dave...i thought for sure alot more ta'S would be there but maybe i didnt see you guys. |
