Awesome venue, I was soooo excited to see some friggin lasers (first time in nyc I have seen a good lighting system). I am a VERY visual person, so the venue was great. Brick balcony, open space, huge screens. loved it.
I had a perfect combo night: danced my ASS off till right before the power went out, and chilled and chit-chatted with great people for 2 hours (when it slowed down) and went right back on the dance floor for the end!! And of course was maaad faked up!! LOL :)
I loved seeing Irishaddict with a silly grin on her face the whole night, just STARING pvd down!! LOL AHHH CLOUD NINE!!! :)
Great to see everybody, all the toronto Ta's (damn we lost some of you guys everynight: @ ferry: nada, ali and laura went home really early, and the next night we lost cale, lisa, shannon, and her man to the back seats) cale wtf did you do to your foot???? lol :( You guys and the altanta TA are great times in any case, and you owned the place!! :) I wish you were here every freakin weekend!
Anyways, great freakin music!!! I didn't think the music was too loud at all! PVD you need to come to NYC like every weekend!! robdawg, I agree with you: that tune you like was the highlite of my nite!!!

-the crowd was really nice but sooooo sketchy at the end. I have never seen so many people on so many drugs!! :toocool:

And last but not least: LOVED the afterparty!!! Great freakin sex talks, people...and I have a new found respect for spitty and lisa because of that afterparty!!

one small thing -- PLEASE *never* lump us asian NYTAs with those 'ppl' :whip: its quite insulting. they aint OUR people, we're not even from the same region (planet) haha. They are *FOBS* and I wanan punch their lights out too (not that *they* would NOTICE).
but for me, id just roll my eyes upon seeing them. im more INTENT on CONTROLLING the guido/fistpumping population. rofl

i was sittin with my asian friends in the back by the speaker but none of us were buggin like that. most of us were just talkin and chillin. |

word i know exactly waht you talking about. they scare me. i mean they really do. a lot of those guys are actually vietnamese chinese. they just recently got into the whole drug club scene and are one of the largest groups to distribute XTC now. serious . a lot of them also run prostitution rings who pimp out their girls at the club. dont ever start fights with some of these guys. some of em carry sharp objects. i stay away from em but im nice to em anyways. well im nice to everyone.

ill post my review now. regardless of whatever i love pvd and i love these events. i love going out and my personality type is usually the type to never really have a bad time esp with something i love...music and friends and meeting people.
i was feeling everything. the venue was HOT! first time i could actually dance around without hittin anyone or getting hit. saw some kid with crazy contacts and his stripper looking girlfriend.
anyways...i prob ran into a lot of you but just never knew who you were. i was in the middle area speaker with a bunch of heads dancing and sittin around. |
