damn this is so exciting. i really hope the canucks end up being 8th and take on the red wings. i believe my team can do this. they are on fire and unstoppable. we will steam roll over those old geezers. :D

canucks r in amazing. 8 loses since december and like 30 wins. thats in sick. they have the most goals in nhl like in 251 or something. more than detroit. we r sizzling hot and will clinch that in 8th spot. momentum is in our in hands and the raping has just started

Thanks for the 1,3,2.

Do you guys feel it. Yeah, you all know what that is.

IT'S CUP CRAZY TIME!!!!

The playoffs are just around the corner. Our
adreniline is flowing like crazy. We forget to breathe
sometimes, go crazy at 5 in the morning when someone
scores a triple overtime goal. You got grandmothers
freaking out thinking that we belong in a mental institution.

It all happens too fast. Next thing you know a champion is
crowned. Before you even know it, summer arrives, the ice melts,
players take a long vacation and we all wish hockey was still
around.

I wish everyone the best of luck on their respective teams.
We all know that there can be only one winner. May the best
team win.

Before Playoffs :D

haha, actually, I'd rather play anyone else too. Ottawa's completely due for something to happen for them, and if the Leafs are hurting, an especially hungry Ottawa team could give us trouble. Ideally I'd like to see Carolina or NYI in the first round and then face the sens in the second when we've found a rhythm with Cujo back.

Canucks really gave the Kings a hard time
winning 5-2. Naslund recorded a hat-trick,
and Bertuzzi got his 15th goal in 15 games.
The magic certainly wasn't there for the Kings.
It was a pretty close game until it got to the
3rd period. Kings should have played Storr
instead of Potvin. Everyone knows Potvin can't
play in Vancouver. Oh well, tommorow's another day.

Nevertheless, I have never seen the Canucks
play so well. They have my vote as a potential
surprise underdog Stanley Cup Champion. Meanwhile,
the Kings look like they'll make the playoffs.
They'll have to regroup and hope Potvin will work
his miracles from here on out.

Probably. I think this year it's going to go at least 6 games.

If Toronto loses to Ottawa, I don't know what I'll do! :toothless

does anyone know how much i should expect to fork out for a playoff ticket? never been to one and i might go this year. i'd like a seat behind the goal about 10-15 rows up. i want to know the regular prices from the box office not the scalper's pricing. :)

i would have checked how much from canucks.com but they haven't clinched yet and there aren't any info on it.

what should i expect for prices?

thanks

Well I went to a Kings playoff game vs. Detroit a.k.a.
"Frenzy on Figueroa" and sat at the worst seat possible
(3rd level) for $70 a piece from those messed up scalpers
on the streets.

I went to another game, round 2 vs. Colorado and got $100
tickets at the first level, one by the glass near the penalty
box (lousy glass seats) and 1 away from the glass near the
second level (almost premier seating).

But if you're converting those prices into Canadian dollars,
that would be $1.99. ......Just Kidding!!!
I wouldn't know.......... :stongue:

When it comes to playoff hockey, money is not an issue.
I couldn't even get two tickets seated together for that
Kings/Colorado game cuz all the tickets were sold out
within' like the first 30 minutes. This happened in Los
Angeles, a city not very well known for hockey. People
in Vancouver would kill to get any seat, as long as they're in.

If I were you I would get those tickets now, even if they
don't make it to the playoffs, you can always get ur money
back. Trust me, they will make the playoffs. Take it from a
Kings fan. :D :toothless

lol i wish i can get them now. they aren't up for sale until they clinch. i can almost see all those people lining up at GM place watching the calgary game on their portable tv's on saturday night. i have to work on sunday morning too. :(

money is not an issue for me, its my friends who are supposed to come with me. they don't want to spend too much on the game. oh well, i hope i can get tix b4 its too late but if i don't go, i can always use that money towards lotsa booze and load up on game night. :)
