| Haha, Forberg haters...thats what you get. Hes a natural talent...so even tho he hasnt been playing it doesnt matter. You can take Forsberg out of hockey(which the Kings did) but you cant take the hockey out of Forsberg...now you get you just due...late/ |

I don't hate Forsberg. I think he's the best player
in the league. It's the Avs that I hate, primarily
because of the Kings/Avs rivalry. That's all there
is to it. :toothless :toothless :toothless :toothless :toothless |

LOL, it's good to have a Canucks fan support the
Kings for a change. Whew...and to think everyone
on this thread would be going for the Avs. Kings
were down 0-2 last season vs. Detroit and did the
impossible. To do it again this year is somewhat possible. :toothless :toothless :toothless |

and what if Hejduk comes back!! heh
and btw - the Kings/Avs rivalry hasnt lasted all that long. in CO we consider Detroit to be a bigger rival. you guys just freak out and boo Blake even tho you guys traded him to us, and subsequently got some of our best players in Deaders and Miller.
Ziggy Palffy is an tho:toothless heh late/ |

Kings/Avs rivalry hasn't lasted that long,...heh. Give
it time and it'll probably be one of the most intense
rivalries we have ever seen.
Even if the Avs are up 2-0, Patrick Roy's GAA is 3.00.
What gives? He's under 2.00 against all other teams. I
just hope the Kings paralyze the Avs' stars in the
upcoming games.
DEATH TO THE AVS!!!!!! GO KINGS GO!!!! (or some other
team that plays them in the later rounds.) :toothless |

well im disappointed about this game. looks like we will lose...:(
im sick of listening to the ESPN2 announcers talk about how the Kings are outcompeting the Avs, sure they are, but only because the Avs are playing like . they havent had a rhythm all game.
and whats with the LA fans? Detroit may have booed the Canadian Nat Anthem, but i would venture LA has the worst fans...i wish they were all like you sebby. why the are they booing Blake still? you guys TRADED him to us, its not like he chose to leave...i wonder if most of the people watching have seen a hockey game before, or if they are just jumping on the 'good team' bandwagon...since the Lakers games are prolly all sold out. i remember last year when Shaq was hawking the Kings....jeez/ |

Hey biznology,...you know what,...you're absolutely
right. L.A. probably has the worst fans. They just
support the Kings only when they're good. I don't
blame them. They still don't know everything there
is to know about hockey. I ask them that the Kings
need to improve on the power play and they say huh,..
and Potvin needs to lower his GAA, and they respond
with another huh..what language are you speaking. I
went to a game where I was siting next to this hot
chick who said this is my first game, why isn't it
over in three periods? Cuz it went to
double-overtime. All the BS...
I on the other hand am a rare loyal Kings fan who's
been following them since I was a kid (1987:that's
when they were purple and gold). I went through the
Kings frustration of not seeing them make the playoffs
a number of times. Seeing them go all the way to the
cup finals in 1993 made me the most happiest hockey
fan in the world.
After the Gretzky trade, the Kings went through a
rebuilding stage where all the fans left to see the
Lakers while I stuck with the Kings. I'm proud to say
I'm a Kings fan all the way. The Lakers can rot in hell
for all I care. I remember Blake ever since he was a
rookie in the 1991 season. People boo him cuz they never
knew what a good player he was playing for the Kings.
I respect Blake and consider him one of the best
defensemen in the game. Most importantly he checks
cleanly. He doesn't check too dirty-like such as
Kasparitis and Konstantinov used to do. On the plus
side he has a wicked slap shot.
You've got to understand, it's really hard to find
those die hard Kings fan, and you're chatting with
him via tranceaddict forum. And another thing. Out
here people prefer rock, alternative and hip-hop.
I chose trance. Go figure. I tend to stick with things
that is not popular in the Los Angeles reigon. Why?
I'm not a psychologist, so I wouldn't know the answer
to that.
I don't want to say anything about game 3 and wait to
see the outcome of game 4. It's really messed up for
the games to be scheduled back-to-back. I'm a nervous
wreck. At least you guys in Colorado knows what it feels
like to win the cup, and on the first year too. You guys
don't know what it's like not making the playoffs and
struggle for 2 to 5 seasons. Enjoy the game biz....
...Peace :D :toothless |

| Well well well Sebby, it's guillotine time for your Kings :D :D :D My boy Patrick is finally back. It was a great close game but we played they way we should have the first 3 games of the series tonight. Thank god we could finally stop Palffy and Allison. I was wondering why we couldn't do anything about those two. Good game by both teams but it's AVS TIME BABY!!! |

Yeah, you guys got that right. Not going to argue
with you guys there. Not that I want to see the Avs
win, but best of luck to them in the playoffs.:toothless |

Finally, Patrick is back. I knew it was a good move to pick him in my playoff pool.
How about that Steve Reinprecht? That was a perfect shot.:D
Too bad about Vancouver. I still think they'll pull it out. Detroit needed to work very hard to get that win. I think the Canucks still have plenty left in the tank. I'm just wondering why Naslund always stickhandles his way into Detroit's zone through the middle and then passes it off to the boards. He usually has plenty of room to get that great shot of his off. Why doesn't he shoot? I'm sure he'll figure it out. |

On another team... what the hell is up with Brent Johnson??? I mean the Hawks don't really have any offensive talent but you think at least they can muster one goal in three games.
And what about STEVE WEBB of the Islanders? Love that guy. It's sweet how the fans chant his name and he didn't even get a point last night haha. Hope he knocks out every single Leaf tonight!!! |
