That's what some of the fans in Vancouver are like. Jump on the wagon just as we make the playoffs, cheer them when they're winning, trash them when they're down. They have no idea what they are talking about, It's just sick. They should try watching all the games then they'd actually now what they are talking about. |

at least they are canandian so even if they ignore hockey they still sorta know whats going on...
does anyone else hate the ESPN2 announcers? i want to murder them. i swear to god they jump on the bandwagon of every team thats winning, its so ing annoying. why cant they stay reasonably neutral? late/ |

I hate them big time. I can't even stay awake to
see the whole game. They talk at a boring level and
half of the time they don't even talk about the game.
What I do is turn off the volume and listen to trance
while watching the game. It helps alot. Why don't you
guys check try it out. It's not like you need to hear
to watch a hockey game. Hehe,..enjoy trance-hockey. Peace. :toothless |

| hahaha i love most of the announcers here in canada. we have jim hughson on SNET. he's one of the best and then there's those CBC announcers who go a GREAT job. |

I love Jim Hughson (Craig Simpson's kind of a dork) and I like the team of Bob Cole & Harry Neale on CBC but they are waaaaaay too pro-leafs.
A few things..
First I think last night was one of the best nights in playoff hockey ever. My Avs won, Montreal made a wikkid comeback (Avs Vs. Habs haha) and the Islanders smoked the Leafs. What more can you ask for?
Tonight has been a great night for hockey too. What does everything think of the penalty shot? There is doubt but I think he deserved it. What a shot, too! Also, what is up with Lalime? He and Johnson are going toe-to-toe for the longest shutout streak. Yikes!! Looks like my predictions for the Flyers and Devils are going down the drain.
These have been some of the best playoffs in a long time. And we're not even past the first round yet!! Can't wait for tomorrow. LET'S GO AVALANCHE!!! |

| the canadian broadcasters may be biased, but at least they make the game sound exciting, I've heard espn announcers and they suck ass like others have said. every close shot on CBC and you know what's happening from the sound of the commentators voice if you're across the room. |

| Hughson is sooooo good! Gald he covers all the SN games for the Nucks. He gets right into the action. Shorty and Lairshied(sp) do a good job as well. As for Cuthbert and Millen, those two clowns are awful. Millen is all over Yzerman's jock(he is playing amazing though) and Cuthbert seems so happy when the Wings score. The worst is when those two commentate an Oilers vs Nucks game. It's Oilers this, Oilers that, Salo is god, Cloutier looks rattled. |

Avs vs. Kings tommorow. Even though I know the Avs
are going to the second round, I just hope the Kings
can win at least one more game cuz being eliminated
4-1 ain't pretty. Now being eliminated 4-2 seems ordinary.
Either way, the Avs are going to be the team to beat in the
later rounds. Although it would be nice to see the Wings
and Avs meet in the west finals, I kind of want to see a
surprise upset. The Blues are looking good, but then again
they're only playing the Hawks. Meanwhile the Canucks and
Sharks have a chance as well.
In the east, we might be looking at seeds 5 vs. 8 and 6 vs. 7
in the second round which is unheard of, but possible. I can't
wait to see the outcome. Late:) |

From a great night of playoffs to one of the worst displays ever...
First of all, the Kings are the luckiest team in the world. How can ppl not think that was a kicked in goal? He turned his skate, he moved his foot forward and he directed the puck into the net. Ridiculous.
Second, I hope Therien's boys rip off Samsonov, Thornton and Guerin's heads off tomorrow. That was the sickest thing I've seen in a long time.. the McLaren hit, that is. Uncalled for and cheap as hell. I love how Therien vowed revenge. It's gonna be explosive tomorrow. |

Everyone has their own opinion on how the goal went last
night in overtime between the Kings and Avs. Remember that
disallowed goal in game 1 that should have been a goal. I
guess this overtime goal last night makes up for the
disallowed one.
Hey, Crave the Rave. You have nothing to worry about.
The Avs are gonna beat the Kings anyways. I'm just glad
it wasn't in 4 or 5 games. It would be a whole lot better
if it went to 7 games. Of course then I would be watching
the 7th game, praying for the Kings to win. For the Avs to
lose three in a row to the Kings is not possible, especially
with all the talented players the Avs have.
In other action, the Blues are chilling right now winning it
in 5 games. The Wings are dominant. I can't seem to figure out
how the Canucks can get out of this hole. Still giving them
a chance though. Boston and Montreal tied at 2-2; gonna be
a crazy finish. The other series match-ups will finish in 6
or 7 games as well. :toothless |

Sebby, teams like the Kings are the teams that can cause way too much trouble for cup contenders. I totally believe we can wipe you guys out later on today but it's just something I don't like to sit through. Wish we coulda ended it two days ago.
I don't know what will be more interesting though, the Avs/Kings game or the inevitable Massacre in Boston... |
