NO

A LOT MORE......

After all We did get Mikey Mike up there in Dj Mag..... We got deep audience.

BTW..... yes great interview !

Awesome, candid interview. I would personally take his "on the edge" mixing anyday over flawless computerized mixing (yes I know you have to set the markers...blah blah...). it keeps things interesting and unpredictable.

So, there is a lot of really good stuff being said in this discussion, and also a fair amount of mindless whinning and flamming. I think we can all agree that Tiesto could clean up some of his transitions, but I hope we can agree he's done some great things for the scene as well. Above all, he has an ear for playing tracks that work well when the're played in the set and he goes ahead and plays them, after the the few seconds of sting, the tracks are still great. plus how can you badger this:

R: A lot of people associate you with trance. You know, Tiesto: trance.

T: Trance! (yelling and laughing)

B: Epic trance! (laughs too)

T: Epic trance guy! (still laughing)

Nice to see that all the money he makes on his next track is going to charity, minor setback for all the "tie$to/tij$" people

He could have never done this mashup live on CDJ/vinyl:

5. Kosmas Epsilon – Innocent Thoughts (Stel Remix)
6. Funk D’Void – All That Matters
7. Closer Musik – One, Two, Three (Ewan Pearson Remix)
8. Phonique – 99 & A Half featuring Alexander East (I:Cube Remix)

one of the most amazing pieces of electronica ever captured on an otherwise below average release.
