Ghana in the lead after that penalty from my man!
2-1 in halftime and remarkable 4 minutes of stoppage time in the first half. |

| another disgusting call from an official in this world cup, what a surprise. These guys are putrid to say the least, let the ing players decide the game not your whistles. |

in a history of bull calls, this one takes the cake.
what the serious ? it's not like US has a chance.. Yeah, let's make it more interesting.
ING ******S |
Follow Markus Merk, and you'll see how much he doesn't deserve to be a referee in a WC-game.
Essien got a yellow card, which means that he'll be suspended for the next game if Ghana makes it through.
45 minutes to go :) |

Yeah I can't imagine rooting against my home country (Benedict Arnold), seems very, very bizarre!! My grandparents are Scottish & German, I wouldn't ever root for Germany but I guess I do show some love for Scotland (but that's mostly my blood). As an American though, we're all mutts of some sort.
Brain says it's gonna be a tie but my heart of course is hoping somehow the stars are aligned, the U.S. sneaks out a 2-1 victory and Italy wins as well. But I'm not holding my breath. Unfortunately, I'll be stuck working and unable to catch it. Oh well....
I hope Arena plays two forwards. Eddie Johnson and Brian McBride with Donovan back in the attacking midfield position where he typically is. |
i'm not a damn benedict arnold. it's more like, i would like to see an african team go into the round of 16 and ghana is the only team left with a chance to do that. |

Yet he keeps refereeing he has made some strange calls in this game as you have highlighted, hate to see games swing on officials calls. This is a shame when that play could decide a game. |

yEAH, i hear ya. If Ghana got any more help from the ref, he'd need to hand carry a ball into US net and make it count.
Oh well. Your team still doesn't have any chance, even if they win.
MUST HAVE FOR WC 2010: CAMERAS, BOOTH REVIEW, COACH CHALLENGES (NFL yeah!) and MANDATORY FIRINGS OF TY REFS THAT MAKE CALLS.

Ghana is surprisingly NOT sharp today, which gives the USA an opening. Whether they'll take advantage of that opening is anybody's guess.
 |

I usually defend refs but that call was absolute bull.
Bruce Arena is a moron for not even starting Eddie Johnson. Beasely looked lazy up until the last 10minutes |

no, but iT probably would have been called "offside" if the ref was not busy staring at the buttocks of Ghanian players. :D |
