listen..the world cup is over and england did e again.i say it be 2066 before england even get a chance to lift the cup again if all goes well.after the display we seen from them in germany. |

Might well be the year 1000000 when we win the world cup but it'll propbably be longer before u even qualify. |

the impression i got from reading this thread is that some people were trying to blame ronaldo for englands defeat..otherwise whats all the bitching about? what is it ronaldo did that was so heinous, apart from score 1 penalty against you?
by blaming ronaldo for getting rooney sent off youre effectively looking for a scapegoat instead of just accepting that you are pure pish at penalties...and are tactically inept for playing for penalties at the end knowing how poor the team's record is.
the ref was standing right beside ronney when he stamped on carvalho, he gave the red card for that. ronaldo did all. |

How can u say Ronaldo did all? Rooney and Ronaldo are or were good friends, do u think if Ronaldo was inviting Rooney round for tea he would have been pushed? U'll obviously have neglected Ronaldo's sly wink to the bench after the red card. How can anyone proclaim Ronaldo's innocence he's the biggest cheat in the game. However the red card was coming anyway, yes thats true but Ronaldo's actions werent needed and were annoying.
This thread is all about hating the cheat that is Ronaldo, not reflecting on or blaming anyone for Englands loss. I'm English and i'm over it. You should get over it to, or are u just having too much fun wallowing in Englands failure because ur own team will never do anything? |

what a load of absolute tripe. the ref stood, still, with his arm pointing to the goal and waited for people to stand up, and things only kicked off when ronaldo barged in waving his arms around.

This is rubbish, a minority of fans booed Hargreaves and most found it disgusting. Yes some were unsure of him but the booing was not that intense. Do we support our team well, well our whole crowd sang the national anthem for just about half the game so i would think so. We were also voted as the best fans at the WC. |

in no way at all did ronaldo influence anything in the quarter-final. the ref was standing right beside the inicdent. he saw the stamp. his match report details that the red card was given for the stamp..he gave the red straight after the push to diffuse the situation. |

You talk utter crap and resorting to saying 'blah blah blah' is the sign of losing an argument. If u read my post i said Rooney would have got a red anyway. That doesnt change what Ronaldo tried to do. Yes England werent good in the WC i've admitted that and i'm over it but its not even the issue. How u can insult England though is beyond me, maybe if ur team played with 20 men u might actually qualify. Like i said though the issue is how much of a cheat Ronaldo is. Why do u insist on bringing it back to how crap England are. Everyone knows we were poor at the WC so stop sounding like a broken record, like i said i'm over it and i've moved on. Not that i'm any more optimistic about Mclaren but theres all i can do about it. |

it was reported that the english fans were causing trouble over in germany as well as causing it in past tournments.everytime they play bad trouble starts off and thats most games.
you could well hear the fans booing him,it was'nt just a minority of fans.it was a good section of them.
england were never going to beat portugal in the end.its a pity rooney got sent off.least then ye would'nt had any excuses to fall back on.
they were all over the shop from there first group match |
